TITLE: Communications and Member Services Coordinator
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The North Dakota Association of REALTORS® (NDAR) seeks a highly organized professional to serve as its Communications and Member Services Coordinator. This role works with minimal supervision and requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to build positive relationships with members, partners, and the public.
The Communications and Member Services Coordinator manages NDAR’s communications platforms and supports member engagement initiatives. Key responsibilities include administration of the Association’s social media channels, development and distribution of member communications, maintenance of the NDAR website, and creation of marketing and informational materials. The position also supports Association meetings, educational programming, and the annual state convention through communications, event coordination, and on-site collaboration.
RESPONSIBILITIES — MEMBER RELATIONS
- Coordinate member newsletters and reports with assistance from administrative staff
- Develop and support membership service programs and member benefits
- Prepare and distribute new member orientation materials
- Maintain and update the NDAR website
- Develop brochures, programs, and marketing materials for meetings, seminars, and convention events
- Administer and support member programs and engagement initiatives
- Manage NDAR social media accounts in accordance with Association policies
- Conduct member surveys and assist with analysis of results
RESPONSIBILITIES — COMMUNICATIONS & EVENTS
- Support the CEO, President, officers, directors, and committee or task force chairs as needed
- Assist the CEO with planning and coordinating NDAR meetings and events, including venue coordination, agendas, meeting notices, meeting packets, and travel logistics
- Recruit and coordinate with event sponsors, educators, speakers, and event staff
- Monitor continuing education programs and related communications
- Maintain the Association’s statewide forms library
- Create fillable PDF forms, social media graphics, and newsletter layouts
- Maintain effective internal and external communications related to assigned duties
- Provide high-quality member service and maintain general knowledge of Association programs and activities
- Participate in relevant state and national REALTOR® programs and activities
- Maintain Association records and office files in accordance with the NDAR record retention schedule
- Share responsibility for answering incoming phone calls with other office staff
RESPONSIBILITIES — PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
- Serve as NDAR’s Professional Standards Administrator, responsible for managing professional standards processes
- Complete Professional Standards Training through the National Association
- Respond to member and public inquiries regarding ethics complaints or arbitration requests
- Distribute information and forms related to filing ethics complaints or arbitration requests
- Process complaints and requests in accordance with timelines and procedures outlined in the National Code of Ethics
- Coordinate and schedule hearings (in-person, hybrid, or virtual) with complainants, respondents, and hearing panel members
- Provide administrative support during hearings and record hearing panel findings
- Maintain complete case files and ensure strict confidentiality of all professional standards matters
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
