Clayton, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Accounting /Membership Communications! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Compensation: $32 to $34 per hour
Member Sales and Retention
- Effectively and promptly respond to Club Members, and prospective members, regarding Club Membership, Club Dues, Rules & Regulations per club standards. Follow up on all membership leads – including emails, phone calls, and walk-ins.
- Greet and tour all Oakhurst CC prospective members and explain membership options or answer any questions they may have.
- Perform New Member Orientations/On-Boarding, either individual or in a group, including a review of the Club rules and regulations and communicating any changes to the membership of the rules and regulations.
- Develop and ensure proper maintenance of an accurate contact management system, including call records, database and activity management.
- Maintains membership records
- Prepare monthly membership reports for General Manager and Owners.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with current members to encourage participation in club events and maintain a high level of member satisfaction
- Effectively communicates with management staff and associates to increase knowledge of membership goals, satisfaction, retention, and activities.
- Work closely with the accounting department to ensure all paperwork is completed for new and resigning members.
- Prepares weekly and monthly newsletter for members from input given by each department
Member Communications
- Maintains the Oakhurst Country Club brand standards and works to execute strategies developed to improve the awareness of the Club and communications.
- Managing the club’s social media activity.
- Redirecting or replying to inquiries and messages on various platforms.
- Creating and distributing the club’s newsletter and any other large-scale email distribution.
- Creating and distributing various club event marketing pieces to the members through various channels.
General:
- Be a team player with the entire Oakhurst Country Club staff. It takes all of the employees at the Club to create the wonderful, personalized service given to each member and to maintain the quality of the facilities that all members deserve and expect.
- Maintain a positive attitude and be willing to assist the membership and the staff to provide the members with the highest quality of service. Perform any other related tasks as requested by the General Manager.
- Is present during club operating hours and events to assist in meeting and greeting members and guests.
- Completes other appropriate assignments as instructed by the General Manager
Skills and Requirements:
- Accounts payable experience required.
- Social Media experience preferred.
