Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid / mostly remote role for a Sr. Content Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate will lead content strategy, creation, and distribution across various digital platforms to drive brand awareness and engagement. Responsibilities include content planning, writing, editing, overseeing campaigns, developing creative messaging, and managing content performance metrics. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and analytics, to ensure the delivery of cohesive and impactful campaigns.
The Senior Content Marketing Manager will serve in their role responsible for content, copy writing, strategy, planning, social media networks, PR and blogger outreach. This person will also serve as the full time community manager for 2-4 brands, including monitoring all social properties, creating unique, engaging content and participating on social media on behalf of the brands. This includes reviewing and preparing content and coordinating production deadlines for social media marketing efforts. The Senior Content Marketing Manager must have strong creative and professional writing skills in a leadership role working with social initiatives to grow the assigned communities.
In addition, the perspective candidate will support our client brands working with Account Directors on the day to day campaign activities, not limited to, however including: client support requests, email blasts, mailers, working with blogger outreach programs, light PR, and budgetary allocations for tactical components.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention.
- Collaborates across functions and silos to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives
- This role requires a brand publisher mindset: the create the content our audience is looking for and then to optimize the path to conversion
- Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement
- Development of editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone
- Editorial calendar and organization workflows must be developed and managed.
- Channel management of digital content hubs and all supporting social channels including email / newsletter distribution. This person must understand the basic best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each and why
- Measurement and optimization of the program will be required on a regular and ongoing basis
- Integration of content programs with brand campaigns to drive brand to demand
- Executive presentations on the program approaches and results will be required.
- Lead the development of Agency and clients’ social media management standards, policies and rules of engagement for social media
- Define key performance indicators and implement enterprise level measurement, analytics, and reporting methods to gauge success
- Mentor and provide training to communication and management professionals throughout the organization on best practices for creating, managing, monitoring, and developing content for social networks
- Work with all client brands to explore and identify ways to integrate social media into business strategies and marketing campaigns
- Apply marketing research and development methods to learn and understand emerging trends and technologies and to communicate this knowledge clearly and concisely
- Social Media Community Management: Interacting with social media posts, daily posting on Instagram Story and Pinterest, interacting and replying to social media comments and tagged content, customer service inquiries, sourcing/vetting/scheduling new influencers, collecting and organizing UGC
- Execution of monthly, quarterly, and EOY slide decks (data analytics, screenshots, etc.)
- Working with and managing Blogging/Blogger Outreach programs
- Manage direct reports: Sr. Content Marketing Social Media Specialist and/or other members of the Social Media team / social media interns

Requirements:
- BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university and minimum of 5 years experience in advertising, communications, marketing, or public relations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of graphic design best practices and principles for both print and web projects
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, as well as independently
- Aptitude to develop and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- A solid understanding of ethical search engine optimization techniques
- Exceptional leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills
- Extremely strong communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated experience with the business applications of social media platforms, including; Instagram, Facebook TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter and more
- Experience with online monitoring and measurement platforms including but not limited to Meta Insights, TikTok Insights, YouTube Insights, and Sprout Social along with other social networks
- Experience with creating and identifying quality social media content related to consumer brands is preferred
- Experience developing and launching email and text messaging campaigns preferred
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines and juggle several assignments simultaneously
- Ability to distinguish and behave with a good sense of decorum; acting as a brand ambassador is absolutely required
- Data, analytics, and metrics oriented
- Experience with Content Marketing and best practices
- Constantly research and utilize social media tools as they become relevant to client objectives
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Excel and Teams) and major Social Media Platforms
Location:
Currently working remote - Working from Home – Monday through Friday. Occasional travel to local sites (Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton area) is required for team meetings and collaborative sessions.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000 annually + Benefits Package
