ABOUT NO MAN'S LAND STUDIO
No Man's Land Studio is a branding and website design studio. The founder is originally from California but currently based in Bali, Indonesia. We partner with founders and businesses in wellness, beauty, lifestyle, hospitality, fitness, and service-based industries to create strategic brands, websites, and marketing experiences that ae elevated, intentional, and memorable.
Over the past five years we've built brands, websites, packaging, signage, digital campaigns, and customer experiences. The majority of our clients are US-based, but we work with businesses around the world.
Now we're looking for someone to help us grow our own audience and turn our portfolio, ideas, and expertise into a consistent marketing engine.

THE ROLE
We're looking for someone who can take ownership of our marketing presence, particularly Instagram, Pinterest and email.
This is not a role for someone who waits for instructions.
We want someone who can look at our business, understand our audience, research what's working, identify opportunities, develop content strategies, and execute them.
Your primary goal is to grow awareness, engagement, followers, inquiries, and ultimately leads for No Man's Land Studio.
You'll work directly with the founder, but we're looking for someone who brings ideas, direction, and initiative rather than simply executing tasks.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Social Media Strategy & Growth (Top Priority)
• Develop and manage our Instagram growth strategy
• Develop and manage our Pinterest strategy as a lead generation channel
• Recommend content themes, campaigns, and content pillars
• Research trends, competitor activity, and opportunities within branding, design, wellness, fitness, hospitality, and small business industries
• Build and maintain a monthly content calendar
• Identify what content is performing and adjust strategy accordingly
• Grow engagement, followers, reach, saves, shares, and inquiries
Content Creation
• Create high-quality social content using existing project assets
• Design premium-looking carousel posts, graphics, stories, GIFs, mockups, and reels
• Transform finished client work into engaging content pieces
• Create before-and-afters, portfolio content, educational posts, case studies, and founder-led content
• Edit reels and short-form video content
• Create Pinterest graphics and pin designs
• Ensure all content aligns with the No Man's Land Studio aesthetic and brand voice
Community Management & Engagement
• Engage with target audiences daily
• Build relationships with potential clients, referral partners, and industry accounts
• Research and engage with strategic target accounts
• Support audience growth through thoughtful outreach and engagement
• Respond to comments and messages when appropriate
Email Marketing
• Create and send newsletters through Flodesk
• Develop ideas for campaigns and email content
• Design email layouts and graphics
• Assist with audience segmentation and list management
• Monitor performance and suggest improvements
Blog & Content Marketing
• Research topics relevant to our audience
• Proactively pitch blog, newsletter, and content ideas
• Draft blog posts with AI assistance
• Upload and format content on the website
• Support SEO-focused content initiatives
Analytics & Reporting
• Track social media performance
• Report on growth, engagement, website traffic, and key metrics
• Make recommendations based on results
• Continuously look for ways to improve performance
TOOLS YOU SHOULD BE COMFORTABLE USING
• Instagram
• Pinterest
• LinkedIn
• Later
• Canva
• Flodesk (or similar email marketing platform)
• ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Design
• Google Workspace
• Trello or Notion
MUST-HAVES
• Strong written and spoken English. You should be comfortable communicating in English daily and capable of writing captions, newsletters, blog posts, and marketing content with the support of AI tools. This is non-negotiable.
• Experience managing and growing social media accounts
• Strong Canva skills and an excellent visual eye
• Experience creating reels, carousels, graphics, mockups, and social content
• Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude as part of your daily workflow
• Highly organized and self-directed
• Able to proactively develop content ideas and marketing initiatives
• Experience with Instagram and Pinterest marketing
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a premium brand aesthetic
• You bring ideas instead of waiting for assignments
• You're comfortable using AI as part of your workflow
Bonus if you have experience with:
• Experience with Pinterest growth and lead generation
• Experience running Meta ads
• Basic SEO knowledge
• Experience with Showit (or other website platforms
• Video editing experience
• Familiarity with Claude, ChatGPT, Midjourney, Nano Banana Pro or similar tools
• Experience working with creative agencies, designers, or premium brands
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Within the first few months:
• Consistent, high-quality content is being published across channels
• Instagram engagement and follower growth are increasing
• Pinterest is driving meaningful traffic
• Regular newsletters are being sent
• Content ideas are being proactively presented
• The founder is spending significantly less time managing marketing
• Marketing becomes more strategic, consistent, and measurable
HOURS, COMPENSATION & GROWTH
• Part-time contractor role, approximately 20 hours per week
• Compensation: Rp 5,000,000 – Rp 8,000,000 per month, depending on experience, skills, portfolio, and demonstrated results
• Paid monthly via Wise
• Flexible working hours with occasional deadlines tied to content schedules and campaigns
• Performance will be reviewed after the first 90 days
• Opportunity for growth as the studio expands
• Potential to increase hours, compensation, and responsibilities over time
• Future opportunities may include managing marketing for No Man's Land Studio clients in addition to the studio's own marketing
