A leading Manhattan-based hospital system is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to support its marketing and communications team. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and strategic marketing professional who enjoys developing digital content, managing web and social media initiatives, and partnering with clinical and administrative leadership to drive engagement and brand awareness.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in digital marketing, content creation, website management, and social media strategy, preferably within a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies that support departmental and organizational objectives.
- Partner with clinical leadership and key stakeholders to translate business goals into effective digital marketing initiatives.
- Create, edit, and manage website content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and optimization for user engagement.
- Research and develop compelling content including feature stories, news articles, blogs, videos, infographics, and promotional materials.
- Manage website updates and ongoing content maintenance.
- Develop and implement email marketing and newsletter campaigns, including content planning, creation, deployment, and performance tracking.
- Create and maintain social media content calendars across multiple platforms.
- Manage social media accounts, including posting content, monitoring engagement, and responding to community interactions.
- Analyze website and social media performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations to improve engagement and reach.
- Collaborate with internal marketing, communications, social media, and technology teams to support integrated marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of digital marketing experience.
- Strong experience with website content management and digital content creation.
- Experience managing social media platforms and developing content strategies.
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact or similar tools.
- Experience with content management systems, preferably Drupal.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and digital publishing best practices is a plus.
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar graphic design tools.
- Video production and editing experience preferred.
- Healthcare, hospital, or medical marketing experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent writing, editing, communication, and project management skills.

Compensation: Approximately $50/hour
