Summary
Virgin Voyages is seeking a strategic, thoughtful, and highly skilled Leadership Communications Manager to shape how our leaders communicate, connect, and show up across the business.
This role is responsible for owning leadership communications across the organization (excluding C-suite), ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with our broader narrative and culture. Sitting at the intersection of strategy and execution, you will partner closely with senior leaders to translate business priorities into communication that builds trust, clarity, and belief across our global Crew.
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with ownership of key communication work-streams.
This gig is based at VVHQ - our swanky Virgin Voyages Head Office in Plantation, FL where we follow a hybrid work environment. We can't wait to 'sea' you in person during our Collaboration Days, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, while you enjoy Mondays and Fridays' as remote days.
What You’ll Do
Leadership Communications Ownership
- Own communications for senior and broader leadership, ensuring messaging is clear, compelling, and aligned to company priorities
- Draft high-quality communications, including announcements, talking points, scripts, presentations, and internal posts
- Translate complex business updates into simple, human, and engaging messaging for diverse audiences
Executive Support (C-Suite)
- Support the Director in developing C-suite communications, including drafting, editing, and refining messaging
- Help prepare materials for key leadership moments such as company updates, major announcements, and cultural milestones
- Ensure consistency in tone, narrative, and messaging across leadership levels
Leadership Enablement
- Develop and manage leader communication toolkits, including briefing documents, FAQs, cascades, and messaging frameworks
- Equip leaders with the tools and confidence to communicate effectively with their teams
- Ensure leaders are aligned and prepared for key moments, initiatives, and changes
Strategic Narrative & Change Communications
- Partner cross-functionally (People, Operations, Finance, etc.) to support communication for key business initiatives and change moments
- Shape messaging that connects strategy to purpose, helping Crew understand the “what, why, and what it means for me”
- Ensure leadership messaging reinforces the broader internal narrative and brand voice
Leadership Channels & Engagement
- Own and manage leadership-specific communication channels (e.g., leadership newsletter, leader updates, internal briefings)
- Identify opportunities to strengthen visibility and connection between leaders and Crew
- Support the design and delivery of leadership engagement moments (e.g., Q&As, updates, forums)
Governance & Quality
- Ensure all leadership communications meet a high standard for clarity, tone, and consistency
- Act as a steward of internal communication standards, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging frameworks
- Review and refine content to ensure it resonates across global, diverse audiences
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- 4-6 years of experience in internal communications, leadership communications, corporate communications, or a related field
- Experience supporting or drafting communications for senior leaders preferred
- Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic, or high-growth environments is a plus

- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different leaders and audiences
- Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear, engaging communication
- High emotional intelligence and strong stakeholder management skills
