We're looking for an Associate Producer to join our Content team!
What you'll do:
- Play a key role in identifying timely, trending, culturally relevant public content on the platform Collaborate with fellow Trend Curators and Producers to help stay connected with their local and global communities through fresh, exciting, and informative.
- Identify trends, tentpoles moments and culturally relevant topics that our community cares about most on a daily basis while also being hyper reactive to new unexpected moments that arise during your shift
- Identify and work with emerging content creators Surface timely, trending and fresh publicly submitted content Work collaboratively with a group of Trend Curators tasked with searching through thousands of shorts to identify tentpole moments, trends, timely conversations and culturally relevant themes
- Review and moderate submitted shorts in real time Engage in ongoing conversations with engineering, moderation, and product teams to communicate and resolve any issues that arise during your shift
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- An expert in US short from video trends, major pop culture moments and timely tentpole events Deep understanding of Gen Alpha, Gen Z and Millennials
- A highly motivated teammate who is hyper reactive, proactive and a skilled communicator Outstanding research and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a sharp attention to detail Strong editorial eye and understanding of what makes an engaging piece of content Someone up-to-date on pop culture, trends, and current events
- Teamplayer who is kind and respectful of other’s opinions
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree in relevant field 1+ years of experience working in digital media, social, or content driven environments (i.e. internet trends, pop culture and hyper timely moments)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed Preferred
Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree in relevant field Preferred previous experience, Someone who has a flexible schedule and the ability to work during nights and weekends, as needed Experience navigating multiple social platforms and demonstrated interest in short form content
