Position SummaryMASCNJ is seeking a motivated, organized, and creative Part-Time Marketing Coordinator to help lead and strengthen the organization’s marketing, outreach, and communications efforts. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a consistent marketing plan, improving community engagement, supporting program and event promotion, and helping MASCNJ expand its reach.
The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with leadership, staff, and volunteers to ensure that all marketing efforts are strategic, timely, and aligned with MASCNJ’s goals, mission, and brand identity.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy & Planning- Develop and implement a marketing plan aligned with MASCNJ’s organizational goals, programs, events, and announcements.
- Use CRM and marketing tools to organize contacts, support outreach, track engagement, and improve community communication.
- Identify target audiences, monitor marketing performance, and recommend strategies to improve engagement and visibility.
Team Coordination- Help assemble, organize, and support a marketing team.
- Coordinate marketing tasks, timelines, and deadlines to ensure consistency and accountability.
- Serve as the main point of coordination for marketing-related projects and communications.
Social Media & Digital Outreach- Manage MASCNJ’s social media platforms, including creating, scheduling, and posting content.
- Ensure consistent messaging, branding, and tone across all digital channels.
- Monitor engagement and recommend ways to increase visibility, participation, and community reach.
Email Marketing & Newsletter- Create and distribute regular newsletters highlighting MASCNJ programs, events, updates, and community news.
- Maintain and organize email/contact lists using CRM or email marketing platforms.
- Draft clear and engaging email campaigns, announcements, and communications for members, families, partners, and the broader community.
Content Creation & Promotional Materials- Create content for events, programs, announcements, campaigns, and general outreach.
- Support the development of flyers, graphics, and promotional materials that reflect MASCNJ’s brand, voice, and mission.
- Basic flyer design or graphic design experience is a plus.
Qualifications- Experience in marketing, communications, social media management, nonprofit outreach, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing tools, and social media platforms.
- Ability to create clear and engaging marketing content for different audiences.
- Comfortable coordinating people, projects, and deadlines.
- Creative, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Basic graphic design or flyer design experience preferred.
- Experience with tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Google Workspace, or similar platforms is a plus.
Preferred Skills- Nonprofit, community organization, or faith/community-based marketing experience.
- Ability to develop marketing calendars and campaign plans.
- Experience growing social media engagement.
- Experience creating newsletters and email campaigns.
- Understanding of audience targeting and community outreach.

Work ScheduleThis is a hybrid position and will require some onsite hours at MASCNJ’s location in North Brunswick, New Jersey, in addition to remote work. The specific onsite schedule may vary based on organizational needs, meetings, programs, events, and campaign deadlines.
