Cetera Financial Group (CFG) is seeking an Internal Communications Specialist who will focus on supporting internal communications and executing projects and activities. The Specialist will work collaboratively with the Internal Communications team and cross-functional colleagues throughout Cetera to create a positive, consistent digital experience for team members. The ideal candidate has strong writing, editing, and project management skills and is a detail-oriented, collaborative, thoughtful team player.
What You Will Do:
- Partner with the Internal Communications team and cross-functional colleagues to write and publish internal communications deliverables related to key corporate initiatives, collaborating closely with the team to meet goals and deadlines.
- Write news articles and communications for home office team members.
- Write feature stories and employee profiles for internal communications channels.
- Own and manage email communications for team members via Marketo, including building, testing, and troubleshooting email, and provide monthly reporting on impact.
- Draft, publish, and manage content on the SharePoint intranet platform.
- Manage the Internal Communications editorial calendar.
- Coordinate virtual Town Hall invitations, operations, promotion and post-meeting surveys.
- Audit and update internal communications channels monthly. Enhance reporting dashboards with key performance indicators for internal communications activities.
- Partner with Internal Communications colleagues and cross-functional teams to integrate DEIB strategic priorities in all aspects of internal communications.
- Serve as backup and support for the Internal Communications team.
What You Need to Have:
- 3+ years of internal communication experience.
- 3+ years of financial services or related industry experience is a plus.
- Excellent writing skills, including copywriting and editing.
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Experience with current and emerging communications platforms and technologies, including but not limited to SharePoint intranet, Canva, Adobe Express, Airtable, MS Teams, Marketo, and Viva Engage.
- Experience with incorporating DEIB strategic priorities in internal communications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects with simultaneous timelines and hard deadlines.
- BA, BS, or equivalent degree in business, marketing, communications, or related discipline.
- Project management skills and ability to manage resources and stakeholders.
- PowerPoint and Excel experience.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this role in Dallas, TX is $70,000-$85,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Salary range may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
