Our client, a healthcare association located in Arlington, VA, is looking for a Marketing/Communications Specialist with strong copywriting and editing experience, to join its growing team!
This role is hybrid, with 2 days per week in office - metro accessible by orange and silver lines.
Marketing/Communications Specialist Responsibilities
- Writes, edits, conceptualizes, fact checks and posts content for client's website, newsletter, email and other projects as needed
- Manages editorial submission requests and solicitations and develops and maintains editorial production calendar for assigned digital media projects
- Supports colleagues in a variety of tasks, including copyediting and proofreading - Collaborates on the development of public awareness campaigns, annual convention, annual report, and other Marcom assets
- Presents content for social media platforms and collaborates with the Social Media team to monitor follower engagement
- Work with internal stakeholders to produce project plans and creative briefs, scope projects, schedule and attend kickoff meetings and offer marketing ideas and support throughout the process
Marketing/Communications Specialist Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing/communications- preferably for non-profit organization - Experience in marketing planning and execution
- Strong writing, editing and communications skills- with ability to research and fact check
- Experience measuring and analyzing metrics and KPIs and providing reports. - Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field
