Must Haves
- A member of the AR developer community, entrenched in the nuances of the subculture from a people, language, and interest perspective.
- Knowledgeable and excited about Lens Studio, SnapAR, and Spectacles, and is capable of engaging with Snap's community of developers and creators
- Skilled in social community management and is able to be a professional facilitator both externally and internally.
The Role:
Responsible for Community Management:
- Community Content
- Publishing -- of original content created by C&M or XFN teams
- Creating -- templated engagement topics to prompt the community (ex: memes & polls)
- This responsibility requires deep knowledge of the AR space; "in-the-know"
- Original content could include: Lens Creator Rewards program monthly winners (to come from Product team), product updates (to come from Lens Studio/Camera Kit PMM), Case Studies (to come from AR Platform PMM or ARcadia), Event Takeovers (to come from Developer Relations team), Meetup Promo (to come from Developer Relations team), Education Promotion (to come from ELT team), etc.
- Community Engagement
- Reposting - Amplify creators' work and reshare community UGC
- Responding - to creators, developers, and superfans on public & private messages
- Community Pulse
- Competitive Sweep - Providing weekly updates to include content for the week, community trends, industry news, and creator work to keep in consideration of spotlighting. This information would be cascaded widely cross-functionally.
- Reporting - Channel analytics and insights related to SnapAR-owned properties and identifying prospective opportunities beyond SnapAR-owned properties.
- Optimizing Content - Proposal of content ideas and tactics based on trends, community feedback, and learnings.
- Partner on Content Strategy & Calendaring:
- Leads content calendars for a view of Always-On content across the SnapAR blog, newsletter, and social channels, collaborating with Brand Managers
Compensation:
$40/hr to $60/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
