Key Role: The Marketing and Events Coordinator is responsible for the growth and culture of our organization by focusing on consistent and accurate communications with families/partners, marketing via email, social media, and google and hosting events for both our families/partners and team members. The Marketing and Events Coordinator will coach 5-12 classes weekly on top of your other job tasks and should be someone that is organized, energetic, and a problem solver.

- Answer in office phones by third ring
- Adhere to events budget and processes
- Organizes all external events

- Accountable for Google growth and engagement
- Accountable for player of the week execution
- Accountable for scheduling marketing shifts and marketing blitz
- Accountable to distribute quarterly newsletter to partners and potential partners
- Understand State and Federal Regulations in Preschools, Elementary Schools and Parks
- Oversee design elements for print and digital marketing
- Work autonomously and with a team
- Leverage network to get new accounts
- Grow current/existing accounts
- Growth mindset (read books on sales, attend seminars etc.)

Requirements:
- 1-2 Years of management experience
- 2-3 years of marketing and or event experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Event Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 year commitment
- Available 90% of the work week- Saturdays and some Sundays and evenings required. Accountable for mapping out your own schedule to accommodate events.
- Coach 5 - 12 classes per week
- Cascade all the HR and personnel needs to the team with firm deadlines and expectations
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Reliable transportation in order to travel to classes all over San Diego and San Diego County
- The ability to communicate with the Soccer Shots office while in the field
- Proof of a TB test within the past 2 years from the date of hire OR proof of a TB test taken within 6 months after the hire date; proof of a new TB test must be taken every 2 years
- Proof of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units or enrolled within first year of employment
- Proof of Pediatric CPR Certification must be completed within 2 months of the start date; Pediatric CPR Certification must be reissued every 2 years
- Completion of the Mandated Reporter Training; certification required every 2 years
Hours & Pay:
- Pay range $45k-50K ($21.50-$24/hr and 40 hrs a week) with
- Mileage Reimbursement (IRS mileage rate)
- Monthly Cellphone Reimbursement of $45
- 40 hours of sick time annually
- $1 per hour raise at anniversary + 10 hours of PTO
- 401K enrollment after 1000 hours with company match up to 4%
