About The Role
The Content Marketing Manager owns the content engine for a technology business, translating complex products, technical workflows, and customer problems into clear content that attracts qualified audiences and supports conversion.
The role develops content across the full funnel, from SEO-driven educational resources and technical blog posts to case studies, email programs, product narratives, and sales enablement. Success is measured through organic growth, engagement, qualified pipeline, and revenue influence.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a quarterly content strategy aligned to product priorities, ICP segments, search demand, and revenue goals
- Produce and edit technical content including blog posts, pillar pages, solution briefs, customer stories, comparison pages, and email campaigns
- Conduct keyword research and optimize content using tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, and GA4
- Partner with product marketing, SEO, demand generation, sales, and subject-matter experts to develop accurate, differentiated messaging
- Own the editorial calendar and content production workflow in tools such as Asana, Jira, Notion, or Airtable
- Measure content performance across organic traffic, rankings, engagement, assisted conversions, MQLs, and pipeline; recommend improvements based on data
- Manage freelance writers, agencies, and creative partners while maintaining editorial standards, brand voice, and delivery timelines
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6 years of content marketing experience in B2B or B2C technology, SaaS, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, developer tools, or a related technical category
- Demonstrated ability to create and edit high-quality content for technical audiences, business buyers, and end users
- Hands-on experience with SEO strategy, keyword research, content briefs, on-page optimization, and performance reporting
- Proficiency with CMS and marketing tools such as WordPress, Webflow, HubSpot, Marketo, GA4, Google Search Console, or equivalent platforms
- Strong project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, vendors, deadlines, and content formats
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Bonus: Experience with developer-focused content, product-led growth, AI-assisted content workflows, video or webinar production, and marketing attribution systems
