The ABIM Foundation is currently seeking a Digital Communications Specialist to join its team. This role works in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Communications to create and maintain digital communications for the ABIM Foundation and its initiatives. This role combines strong writing and editorial skills with hands-on digital communications expertise to support the Foundation’s mission and expand engagement across web, email, and social media channels. The Digital Communications Specialist is a strategic communicator and skilled digital content producer who can turn ideas into compelling, accessible content while independently managing digital platforms and campaigns.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Communications, the Digital Communications Specialist is responsible for the following:
- Develops and publishes content across the Foundation’s digital platforms, including website(s), blogs, email campaigns, and social media.
- Update and maintain content on the Foundation’s website(s), ensuring content is accurate, accessible, visually engaging, and user-friendly, and conducting regular audits to identify outdated content and broken links.
- Develops and executes social media strategy to support organizational priorities and audience engagement.
- Builds and distributes email communications and newsletters; manages audience segmentation and email list maintenance.
- Track analytics across all digital platforms by creating monthly and quarterly reports, summarizing key trends to inform the Foundation’s communications strategy, and ensuring accuracy and consistency in all data and reporting.
- Collaborates with internal teams and external vendors on website updates, digital campaigns, and communications projects.
- Creates, edits, and updates video, audio and graphic design assets as needed.
- Ensures brand consistency across all digital channels and communications materials.
- Keeps current with digital communications, data visualization, and audience engagement best practices.
The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic digital communications professional with 3–5 years of experience in digital communications, content strategy, marketing, or a related field. They have strong writing, editing, design, storytelling, and project management skills, with experience creating engaging content across websites, email, social media, and digital platforms.
The successful candidate is skilled in website management, digital analytics, SEO best practices, and audience engagement, with experience using tools such as Webflow, Google Analytics, and Adobe Creative Cloud. They are detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to manage multiple projects while delivering high-quality, impactful communications.
This role is based in our offices at 510 Walnut Street, Philadelphia PA, with the ability to work remotely three days a week. Our technology and facility teams provide and support a seamless hybrid work environment for all employees.
