CDRR Communications Lead – Cyber, Data, Risk & Resilience

Job Summary
The CDRR Communications Lead will lead internal communications for Cyber, Data, Risk & Resilience (CDRR), a global technology organization covering cybersecurity, data, technology risk, fraud, resilience, and nonfinancial risk.
This is a hands-on, high-execution communications role focused on turning complex technology, cyber, and risk topics into clear, engaging communications for employees, senior leaders, and stakeholders.
The role owns communications end-to-end—from planning and content development through stakeholder review, approvals, distribution, and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute communications plans, editorial calendars, campaigns, newsletters, and executive messaging.
- Draft and edit executive communications, leadership memos, organizational announcements, newsletters, alerts, intranet content, and campaign materials.
- Translate complex cybersecurity, technology risk, data, fraud, and resilience topics into clear, actionable messages.
- Manage the complete communications lifecycle: intake → drafting → editing → stakeholder review → approvals → distribution → archiving.
- Support major cyber/risk awareness campaigns, Technology-wide communications, and Firmwide initiatives.
- Coordinate with senior leaders, Chiefs of Staff, SMEs, Technology Communications, Corporate Communications, and Creative Services.
- Support CDRR Open Forums, town halls, employee engagement programs, and leadership events.
- Maintain editorial standards, templates, communication calendars, approval records, and repositories.
- Perform detailed quality control including proofreading, fact-checking, links, distribution lists, sender validation, and version control.
- Track communication engagement metrics and use results to improve future campaigns.
- Leverage AI, automation, M365 Copilot, and agent-based tools to improve communications workflows.
Required Background
- Strong experience in internal, executive, technology, or change communications.
- Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and editorial judgment.
- Experience communicating complex technology, cybersecurity, risk, data, or regulatory topics.
- Strong stakeholder management skills in a large, matrixed, global organization.
- Ability to manage multiple communications deliverables simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Experience working with senior executives and sensitive/high-visibility communications.
- Strong Microsoft Office/M365 skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, and Copilot.
- Financial services, technology, cybersecurity, risk, or other highly controlled-environment experience is preferred.
