David Kessler | grief.com
At Grief.com, we provide education, resources, and community for people experiencing grief and the professionals who support them.
We’re seeking an experienced, technically confident executive assistant to support David Kessler, a leading grief and loss expert, teacher, and author, and work closely with his team. You’ll keep his inbox, calendar, tasks, and commitments organized, coordinate online events, and help our customer support team.
The ideal candidate enjoys independent problem solving, handling practical details, anticipating needs, and tracking lots of moving pieces at once and organizing them to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage David’s inbox, calendar, scheduling, commitments and follow-ups.
- Organize requests into clear priorities, handling what you can and preparing concise options for decisions that need David’s input.
- Prepare, guest questions, and presentations early enough for review and revisions.
- Coordinate speakers and teammates, track deadlines, and confirm that materials and requests reach the right people.
- Set up and operate LIVE online Zoom webinars and Zoom Events; troubleshoot issues and manage recording events and replays for David.
- Help members with program questions, login problems, and access issues through patient, compassionate communication.
WHAT YOU BRING
- You’re a trustworthy and reliable right-hand person, protecting and managing an executive’s time so they can do their best work.
- Significant experience in executive assistance, administrative operations, or a similar coordination role.
- Hands-on experience operating online events or webinars and resolving technical issues.
- Strong Google Workspace skills, including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, and Sheets.
- Clear communication, sound judgment, discretion, and reliable follow-through.
- A proactive, resourceful approach and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Comfort with routine customer support, recurring tasks, and constructive feedback.
Experience with ClickUp, Kajabi, Canva, and AI productivity tools is helpful. Professional or volunteer experience in grief support, hospice, mental health, online education, or coaching is a plus. Personal experience of loss is not required.
