Marketing Manager

Our client is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead a growing B2B marketing program for a software company serving the manufacturing industry. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys setting strategy, creating campaigns, working closely with sales, and measuring what produces results.

Location: Southwest Michigan | Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the annual marketing plan, including campaigns, priorities, budget, and performance goals.
Lead marketing across content, email, digital channels, the website, social media, trade shows, and industry events.
Create programs that build awareness, generate qualified leads, and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
Partner with sales and leadership on messaging, campaign follow-up, and lead quality.
Develop content such as case studies, newsletters, website pages, presentations, and sales materials.
Manage outside marketing partners and guide a part-time digital marketing coordinator.
Track campaign performance and recommend changes based on leads, engagement, and return on investment.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B software, technology, manufacturing, or another industrial market.
Experience owning and executing marketing programs across several channels, rather than specializing in only one.
Strong writing, project management, and communication skills.
Experience with digital marketing, email campaigns, CRM systems, website content, and marketing analytics.
Ability to work independently, manage outside partners, and collaborate with sales and company leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Ability to work onsite three days per week in Southwest Michigan and travel up to 10%.
