About the role: Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning, this is an exciting opportunity to be immersed within a corporate Human Resources environment and gain critical experience to help jumpstart your career in the HR & Talent Acquisition field. You’ll be tasked with everything from supporting corporate recruiting efforts to assisting with project execution and other HR initiatives as needed.
- This internship will be based out of ECRE's headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland.
What You’ll Do
Recruiting Support:
- Assist with the creation of job postings on various platforms.
- Manage interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers.
- Coordinate pre-hire requirements including background checks, reference checks, and employee file creation.
- Participate in new-hire welcome calls and hiring strategy sessions.
- Gain exposure to corporate talent acquisition procedures & full-cycle recruitment strategy.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
Human Resources Support & Project Management:
- Support the HR team in preparing presentations for management, as well as assisting with Company newsletter preparation.
- Personnel file clean up, organization and maintenance.
- Assist with general HR projects and tasks as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
What skills and experience you’ll need:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- The desire to set your sights on a career within Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.
- Ability to prioritize workload, multitask, and pay close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff and the capacity to work independently as well as in collaboration with others is required.
- Previous corporate internship experience preferred but not required.
