About the Role
We're looking for a dedicated and creative Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our team. If you're passionate about movies, culturally curious and eager to contribute to a community that values cinematic artistry, this role offers an exciting opportunity to support our marketing efforts across various platforms. You'll play a key role in connecting with our audience and sharing our love for the art of film.
Responsibilities
- Support Marketing Campaigns: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including social media, email, and digital advertising, ensuring they align with our brand and resonate with our audience.
- Contribute to Social Media Content: Support our Head of Social in creating engaging social media content, including text, image sourcing, and video selection, that reflects our appreciation for film.
- Manage Social Media Engagement: Assist in managing select social media accounts, engaging with followers and fostering a positive community.
- Create Marketing Materials: Assist in the creation of marketing materials, such as newsletter assets, press kits, and website content, ensuring they maintain our high standards of quality.
- Track and Analyze Campaign Performance: Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports to inform future strategies.
- Support Community Outreach: Assist with community outreach efforts, including event planning and coordination, to expand our reach.
- Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and communications.
- Conduct Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to gain insights into our audience and market.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
- A strong interest in movies and a genuine appreciation for diverse cinematic voices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools
- Strong organizational, project and time management skills
- A collaborative team player with a positive and proactive attitude
- Experience with graphic design software
Bonus Points
- Experience in the movie or cultural industry (e.g., internships, volunteer work)
- Bilingual proficiency
About the position
- This is a permanent, full-time position with excellent benefits-including medical, 401K matching, and a generous vacation policy. The base salary range is $60-65,000 commensurate with experience. The nature of the work will require you to be physically present in our New York, NY office.
