Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing & Data Analysis: Monitor and manage monthly case referral data to optimize advertising spend. Analyze metrics such as case retention trends, intake calls, case acceptance rates, and pending decisions to better inform firm-wide marketing strategies.
- Event Management: Take ownership of end-to-end event coordination for a variety of endeavors, including seminars, professional development programs, litigation focus groups, employee celebrations, holiday parties, charitable events, and political fundraisers. You'll handle critical logistics like venue selection, attendee engagement, menu coordination, and budget oversight.
- Firm Public Relations: Collaborate on publicity strategies, including coordinating photo shoots for online and print media, curating ad material for sponsorships, and managing relationships with legal publications such as The Recorder, Daily Journal, Super Lawyers, and others.
- Content Creation: Oversee the collaborative process of producing our biannual newsletter, “Focus on Torts.” Responsibilities include article editing, working with production vendors, and managing the digital distribution to a mailing list of 25,000+ contacts.
- Digital Engagement: Act as the liaison for website coordination—maintaining the integrity of our online presence—and partner with vendors for streamlined digital campaigns.
- Internal Support: Facilitate weekly team huddles and coordinate the logistics of litigation focus groups to ensure alignment on firm objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 2-3 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, media, or event planning (law firm experience strongly preferred!).
- Skill Set: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, outstanding organizational abilities, and a sharp attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Suite is required.
- Team Player: You’re not only self-driven but also a collaborative professional who thrives in team environments and demonstrates flexibility to pitch in beyond your formal responsibilities.
- Physical Expectations: Comfortable lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 25 lbs when managing event equipment or material logistics.
