Summary
SPI is seeking a qualified candidate to perform research and content writing. The individual would work directly with the CEO and newsletter team.
Job Responsibilities
· Research upcoming opportunities online and also assist with managing upcoming opportunity databases;
· Perform online research for specific types of industry information;
· Assist with monitoring and researching public-private partnerships throughout the U.S.;
· Research and provide data on federal funding programs and all other types of government funding options;
· Gather data and information about industry trends, grants, government initiatives, market trends and changes occurring throughout the U.S.
· Compile background information on public entities;
· Assist with researching and analyzing data and converting it into meaningful and responsive information;
· Gather and synthesize business intelligence data and legislative initiatives;
· Assist in the development of materials for training and presentations;
· Perform other similar duties as assigned
Preferred Traits and Education
· Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university;
· Experience and understanding of public sector processes and structure;
· An understanding of and experience with AI
· Proven excellent written and oral communication skills;
· Strategic and analytical thinking skills;
· Good thinking skills to understand objectives and goals for all initiatives;
· Self-motivation and the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks;
· Strong interpersonal, organization and time-management skills; and
· Solid web-based and computer skills, particularly internet searches and MS Office.
This is a full-time and in-office position the company hopes to fill immediately. The individual selected will with the entire SPI Team daily on all types of initiatives.
