Summary Of Responsibilities
- Graphic Design and Marketing: Design marketing and promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, presentations, event collateral, and digital graphics. Ensure all materials meet UVU branding, accessibility, and quality standards. Execute integrated marketing and communication plans that promote CHPS programs, initiatives, and achievements to internal and external audiences. Align messaging with college goals and university priorities, and ensure consistency across all channels.
- Social Media Management: Manage the college’s social media presence across multiple platforms, including content creation, scheduling, community engagement, and analytics. Implement paid campaigns and monitor performance metrics to increase awareness and engagement.
- Content Creation and Publications: Write, design, and produce the CHPS newsletter, annual report, and other publications. Create content for print, digital, and web platforms that highlight student, faculty, and alumni success stories while maintaining UVU’s voice and style standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field AND one year of related professional experience in marketing, communications, or design.
Preferred Qualifications
Two years plus related professional experience in marketing, communications, or design.

Knowledge
- Marketing and public relations principles, practices, and trends.
- Social media strategy, analytics, and audience engagement methods.
- Branding, accessibility, and university communication standards.
- Digital content management and basic SEO practices.
- Graphic design and publication production processes.
Skills
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading for both print and digital platforms.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and other design or publishing tools.
- Skilled in managing social media campaigns and analyzing performance metrics.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
