The Role
We are seeking an Enterprise Technology Analyst, particularly within domain experience within the Data Management space and related Cloud, Storage, and AI fields. We’re looking for someone to assist in research preparation for a variety of directly and closely related companies, markets, and technologies. Reporting directly to the Director of Research, you’ll help shape our research roadmap and products, and produce compelling, data-driven insights for investors and corporate strategy and marketing teams.
- Produce industry-leading research identifying opportunities and risks for companies and technologies in the Enterprise Technology space
- Communicate the benefits and use cases of our first-to-market research methodology, and develop metrics and analyses that best utilize our data inputs to address key narratives
- Clearly and effectively present actionable insights to clients and prospects through reports, calls, webinars, and events
- Develop forward-looking analyses across key healthcare and life science themes
- Manage and fulfill incoming requests for data and research from customers and prospects
- Conduct deep company and market research to uncover industry dynamics, key growth drivers, and demand shifts within Enterprise Technology and Data Management
- Uncover prevailing industry theses and stay ahead of emerging trends, technologies, and innovators that are shaping the future of healthcare and life sciences
- Contribute thought leadership by creating high-impact content for our newsletter and client communications
- Partner with product team on design to create best-in-class self-serve research platform
Required Experience
- In-depth knowledge of key Data Management sectors, including Databases, Data storage, Cloud, and Artificial Intelligence
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years professional experience in equity research, alternative data, corporate development, financial analysis, market research, and/or consulting roles
- Long-form and short-form writing expertise required - you must be able to synthesize data and complex concepts into digestible, forward looking insights
- Strong communication and presentation skills - you should feel comfortable talking to investors and strategy clients as an authority on Enterprise Tech
- Proficiency in managing/analyzing large data sets. SQL experience is strongly preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Product management experience and demonstrated sense of ownership
