The Marketing Coordinator at Howell Construction collaborates closely with internal teams to promote the Howell brand through both printed and digital media. This role supports and advances marketing initiatives across the organization and reports directly to the Head of Marketing.
High Level Key Responsibilities will include:
Customer Service to Internal Customers:
- Proposal Deliverables
- Prepares written proposal responses to Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) as assigned
- Coordinates with internal team members to gather and integrate required deliverables for RFQ and RFP responses
- Manages the RFQ/RFP response process and timelines, ensuring deadlines are met while developing effectiveness as a proposal “quarterback”
- Schedules and facilitates key meetings related to RFQ/RFP strategy development and interview preparation
- Ensures all team members involved in RFQs, RFPs, and interviews are well-informed and equipped with relevant materials, including RFQs/RFPs, agendas, and written responses
Leads and Supports Other Marketing Efforts of the Company
- Prepares and updates marketing collateral to support Howell’s focus markets and custom marketing deliverables
- Develops and maintains marketing materials, including collateral and displays, for trade shows and industry events
- Manages and updates Howell’s presence across multiple social media platforms in alignment with brand standards
- Participates in meetings with operations staff responsible for market-specific marketing plans, serving as a catalyst for coordination and action
Supports Business Development Efforts of the Company
- Utilizes, customizes, and maintains the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to support business development and marketing efforts
- Actively attends networking events and industry functions to promote Howell and strengthen market presence
Prepare Materials for Interviews and Presentations
- Prepares interview presentation materials to support interview teams and pursuit efforts
- Coordinates with staff assigned to interview teams to ensure alignment, readiness, and effective delivery
Miscellaneous Responsibilities as Assigned
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager and other internal stakeholders
- Creates, manages, and maintains job site signage in alignment with Howell branding standards
- Serves as a positive, collaborative contributor to internal teams
- Proactively manages workload to deliver assignments ahead of established deadlines
- Develops and writes thought leadership content that supports Howell’s market positioning
- Prepares and manages internal company communications, including the quarterly newsletter
Promotion of Howell’s Brand in the Marketplace:
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Howell’s brand promise and consistently communicates it effectively in the marketplace
- Actively participates as a Howell team representative at association, organizational, networking, and marketing events as assigned
- Represents Howell with professionalism, credibility, and integrity in all external interactions

Requirements
- One to two years of experience in the AEC industry
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
- Demonstrated interest and experience in written communications
- Strong command of written English, including grammar and punctuation
- Advanced computer proficiency, including experience with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Bluebeam
- Working knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
