Your Role
The Consumer Growth Marketing Acquisition and Retention team is looking for a dynamic marketing professional to join us as a Marketing Operations Specialist, Consultant - Individual and Family Plans (IFP). The Marketing Operations Specialist, Consultant will lead the Individual and Family Plans Broker Marketing strategy and campaign implementation as well as support the acquisition and retention deliverables for the under 65 consumer line of business. The Marketing Operations Specialist, Consultant will report to the IFP Senior Marketing Manager. In this role you will collaborate with a team of marketers dedicated to driving the acquisition and retention of Blue Shield members located throughout California.

Responsibilities
Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with sales teams, product development, consumer line of business operations and other internal business partners to develop targeted marketing plans for brokers and consumers to drive profitable membership growth in alignment with the annual business plan
- Develop and implement a broker strategy for the year, including preparing creative briefs, submitting JIRA and Workfront tickets, estimating costs, and schedules
- Create specific project plans to execute marketing strategies, including presale materials, supporting event presentations, email, mail and landing page content, PowerPoint presentations, and newsletter articles
- Drive successful implementation by reviewing and approving technical and artistic phases of marketing collateral and materials
- Track and maintain budgets and project deliverables/milestones, overseeing vendor and internal unit activities, and preparing reports and communications on project status for management
- Lead weekly sales alignment meetings by setting the agenda, managing action items, and facilitating discussions
- Support campaigns for prospect acquisition and member retention, including the development, launch, and reporting of email, mail, landing pages, and push notifications
- Leverage data to optimize campaigns and recommend metrics by pulling campaign metrics to demonstrate the success and effectiveness of email and mail campaigns, and reporting campaign progress against goals and relevant marketing metrics to management
- Project manage and provide support for special initiatives contributing to the development, refinement, and rollout of the annual IFP Marketing Playbook, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines and stakeholder requirements
Qualifications
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field such as marketing or business and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience
- Requires ability to adapt quickly to digital tools to update web content, manage assets and measure performance
- Requires experience with project management and organizational skills with attention to details and deadlines
- Health insurance experience strongly preferred
- Experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and other tools (Jira, Workfront) strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product, sales, creative, marketing, and external partners
- Ability to lead meetings effectively, ensuring clear communication and productive discussions followed with notes and action items
- Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to interpret, analyze, and report on marketing data to measure campaign performance and identify trends. Proficiency in using data visualization tools and techniques to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders
