Position Summary
The Marketing & Events Coordinator plays a key role in strengthening Lighthouse’s external brand presence and internal culture by supporting marketing initiatives, coordinating company and client events, and ensuring consistency across communications and brand execution. This position serves as a trusted partner to leadership and business units, helping bring Lighthouse’s story to life through organized, high-quality marketing, proposal, and event experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Support development and execution of the company’s marketing and events strategy, ensuring consistency, organization, and timeliness across initiatives.
- Develop creative, engaging content and storytelling that brings the Lighthouse brand to life across proposals, marketing materials, events, social media, and internal communications.
- Coordinate and execute company events including conferences, client visits, recruiting events, employee engagement activities, trade shows, and community initiatives.
- Manage event logistics including scheduling, vendor coordination, catering, travel arrangements, registrations, materials, shipping, and on-site support.
- Manage corporate sponsorships, charitable giving, and community partnerships, including coordination, tracking, and communication of company involvement.
- Develop and maintain project marketing and media materials including proposal materials, photography coordination, and project highlights.
- Partner with Project Teams and Proposal Coordinators to produce customized, high-quality proposals that remain consistent with company branding across all Business Units.
- Spearhead the internal monthly newsletter by coordinating content collection, editing, and publishing.
- Manage the company’s social media presence and content calendar by partnering with subject matter experts to gather and develop content.
- Coordinate creation and distribution of marketing materials including presentations, promotional items, signage, and branded communications.
- Maintain and improve marketing and event processes, templates, and standard operating procedures to drive efficiency and consistency.
- Track marketing and event budgets, activities, and performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Serve as a brand steward by ensuring visual and messaging consistency across all communications and experiences.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and identify opportunities to improve coordination across marketing and business development efforts.
- Demonstrate ownership and initiative by supporting cross-functional teams and creating positive experiences for employees, partners, and clients.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business
Required
- 3–4 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, communications, or related role.
Preferred
- Experience coordinating events, conferences, or corporate initiatives
- Experience with social media platforms, content coordination, and marketing tools
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with design or marketing tools (Canva, Adobe, or similar) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
- Occasional travel and evening or early morning event support may be required

Additional Requirements
