Overview
We’re hiring motivated AEs and SDRs to grow our outbound sales team. We are experiencing rapid growth in ad sales and aim to double our sales team this year. You’ll own the end-to-end sales process with sponsors, from prospecting to closing deals.

What you’ll do:
- Sell ad inventory for our technology newsletters.
- Create sales funnels to sell the ad inventory.
- Generate sponsorship leads for the ad inventory.
- Convert leads and generate payments from the sponsors.
- Report to the team on performance and key metrics set by the team.
- Answer questions the team has about the sales process and sponsors it brought.
- Attend team calls each week to discuss performance and tasks.
- Handle any sales related tasks that are not covered in the list above.
- Work with Apollo, Smartlead, Salesforce, Clay, ChatGPT and other tools needed for the job.
Role Requirements
- You have at least 1-2 years of media sales experience. Newsletter sales experience is a plus.
- You are used to working with sales quotas set by leadership - and meeting them.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled lead generator who loves forming new relationships.
- Robust understanding of how sponsors plan, buy, and evaluate results.
- Existing industry experience is great but what truly matters is the hunger to excel, integrity and a hustler work ethic.
- Bonus: Interest in tech, AI or developer/coding space strongly preferred.

- Haven’t worked in media, advertising, or agency partnerships.
- Don’t enjoy doing outbound and the bulk of your experience is in inbound roles.
- Lack curiosity about AI, tech and media.
- Find it frustrating to adapt or figure out a new outbound strategy every 3-6 months.
COMPENSATION
The average AE at Superhuman clears over $200k in OTE, while the average SDR clears $100k in OTE. Expect your compensation to be in this range.
