Lantern Point Labs (LPL) is seeking a Marketing Project Manager to turn our existing content and community assets into crisp, consistent multi-channel storytelling. You’ll coordinate light content production, keep the calendar on track, and ensure brand consistency across LinkedIn, Instagram, our website/blog, email (HubSpot), and short-form video. Audiences include founders, students, advisors/donors, and corporate sponsors. You’ll be supported by experienced LPL advisors (marketing/brand leaders) for feedback, mentorship, and skills development.
Time Commitment: 8-15 hours/week, hybrid.
Start and End Date: February 2026 – May 2026
ABOUT US:
Lantern Point Labs (LPL) is a nonprofit entrepreneurial ecosystem led by Fairfield University alumni and community members. We partner with early-stage founders to help them achieve market readiness and secure essential funding—embedding student consultants and senior operators directly into their teams.
Our model creates shared value: founders get real expertise, students get career-defining experience, and our community gets a front-row seat to the next wave of purpose-driven ventures.
THE ROLE:
LPL is looking for a driven, creative, and organized Marketing & Storytelling Project Manager to help us share the story of what we’re building and amplify the impact happening across our founder and student community.
This is a hands-on fellowship where you’ll lead real campaigns, manage other student consultants, and own the development and distribution of content that reaches investors, alumni, and community leaders. You won’t just execute tasks, you’ll help shape how the world sees LPL.
A near-term priority is our Spring 2026 Kickoff Event at Mayer Brown’s NYC office on March 18, 2026—a curated evening bringing together founders, investors, operators, and alumni. You’ll play a key role in making that event a marketing success.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN:
Campaign Management
- Lead and execute the LPL marketing calendar across channels: LinkedIn, email/newsletter, and event platforms (Luma)
- Coordinate content production across the team—ensuring deadlines are met and output is on-brand
- Manage event promotion for the March 2026 Kickoff and future LPL programming
- Track campaign performance, synthesize insights and ways to optimize (A/B testing)
- Help develop a repeatable content workflow: capture moment → create asset → publish on schedule
Storytelling & Content Creation
- Write and produce short-form video content: founder spotlights, student highlights, event recaps, speaker previews
- Draft compelling LinkedIn posts, newsletters, and event copy that reflect the LPL brand voice
- Collaborate with cohort founders, advisors, and student consultants to surface their best stories.
- Help develop a best practices play book that can be shared with current and future stakeholders.
Community Engagement
- Reach out to alumni, advisors, investors, and operators to invite attendance, participation, and content sharing to amply the awareness of Lantern
- Coordinate with speakers, panelists, and cohort companies to gather bios, photos, and promotional materials
- Help build and maintain the LPL community feel—from pre-event buzz to post-event follow-up
Team & Project Coordination
- Manage a small team of student content contributors—assign tasks, review work, give feedback
- Keep the team organized: shared docs, content calendars, and clear deadlines
- Communicate proactively with the Executive Director on progress and blockers
