The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Correspondent for our OT.Today media platform to produce authoritative, timely reporting and analysis on OT security trends, incidents, policies, and technologies. What You'll Be Doing
- Develop editorial coverage: Identify and pursue breaking news, long-form features, and investigative stories related to OT/ICS security, critical infrastructure, and industrial cybersecurity.
- Report and write: Produce accurate, well-sourced articles, analysis pieces, and explainers on complex technical and policy topics with clarity and authority.
- Source cultivation: Build and maintain a diverse network of industry contacts, researchers, vendors, practitioners, and regulators to support reporting and exclusive coverage.
- Multimedia production: Participate in podcasts, webinars, video interviews, and newsletter content; collaborate with the production and events teams to amplify editorial reach.
- Fact-checking and editorial standards: Ensure all work meets ISMG’s editorial guidelines for accuracy, attribution, and impartiality; coordinate with editors for revisions and legal review when necessary.
- Thought leadership: Represent ISMG at industry events and conferences; present findings and insights to audiences and clients as appropriate.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the Global Copy Desk, events, marketing, and research teams to align coverage with audience needs and company initiatives.

- Proven ability to break news and produce investigative or high-impact features that drive audience engagement.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and interviewing skills; ability to translate complex technical material into clear, actionable stories for a professional audience.
- Experience working with sources in industry, government, and research communities; comfortable handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality when required.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), basic multimedia production tools, and SEO best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple stories and deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
