Job Description
JVA, Inc. has an open position in our downtown Boulder or Denver offices for a Marketing Coordinator, who will develop proposals for engineering projects for our civil, environmental, and structural teams across JVA’s 6 offices.
The candidate we are seeking will have a strong creative outlook, an eye for design, and a keen sense of brand awareness. Adaptability, organization, attention to detail, and planning are essential. Advanced software skills and knowledge of proposal coordination in the A/E/C industry puts you ahead of the learning curve. Knowledge of the Colorado market, familiarity with graphic design principles and software, social media campaigns, and experience in a deadline driven working environment is an advantage.
Example Responsibilities And Activities
- Proposal coordination and preparation including development process, kickoff meetings, proposal schedule, document formatting, persuasive and strategic writing and editing, RFP/Q compliance, brand consistency, subconsultant coordination, printing, and document assembly.
- Provide consistency on all marketing and proposal materials within brand guidelines.
- Update/edit project lists, profiles, specialized marketing sheets, brochures, conference collateral, photos, and presentations.
- Contribute to social media presence and strategy, including content creation, scheduling, engagement, and analytics.
- Update/edit company website.
- Assist with design, writing, and editing of print and digital ads, internal newsletter, brochures, flyers, event invitations, corporate documents, and other collateral.
- Internal event planning, organizing assistance, and additional administrative support as needed.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000

- Degree and Credential Requirements: None required; we value candidates who can demonstrate capability and articulate how prior experiences will help them contribute.
- Marketing Knowledge: Utilizes marketing concepts to support JVA’s strategic marketing campaigns and brand management.
- Computer Skills: Strong knowledge of design software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong written and verbal communication skills: Professional, prompt, and proactive communication skills when in-person, over email/messages, and in virtual meetings.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Adaptable: Comfortable quickly adjusting priorities to meet tight deadlines.
PREFERRED Qualifications
- Familiarity with AEC Industry: An understanding of JVA’s industry – structural, civil, environmental engineering/consulting for local communities, municipalities, commercial and private clients.
- Initiative: Think ahead and find ways to improve internal system efficiencies and automate processes.
- Editing skills: Elevated attention to detail with written and graphic communication as well as document layout and production to produce high-quality products.
- Computer Skills: PC and Microsoft Office knowledge, AI utilization
- Utilization of Customer Relationship Management software: Familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint or other CRMs is a plus!
