Trinity Hall seeks a communications manager for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Job Description: Reporting to the head of school and serving as a key member of the advancement team, the communications manager leads and executes Trinity Hall’s comprehensive communications strategy. This is a highly entrepreneurial role requiring vision, initiative, and strong self-discipline. The communications manager owns and safeguards the school’s brand and voice, working collaboratively across admissions, development, and school leadership while independently managing projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises sound judgment, anticipates needs, and produces thoughtful, mission-aligned work that elevates Trinity Hall’s story and strengthens engagement across the community. This is a 12-month position.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Develop and execute a strategic, mission-aligned communications plan that strengthens Trinity Hall’s brand, voice, and visibility.
- Serve as the steward of the school’s voice, ensuring consistency, clarity, and authenticity across all internal and external communications.
- Lead and grow the school’s digital presence across platforms, creating compelling content (copy, graphics, photography, and video) that reflects daily life and student achievement.
- Partner closely with admissions and development to design marketing campaigns, fundraising materials, annual publications, and messaging that clearly articulates Trinity Hall’s value.
- Oversee production of the school’s biannual magazine and serve as managing editor of the weekly digital newsletter.
- Manage and continuously refine website content to ensure accuracy, strategic alignment, and brand consistency.
- Cultivate strong working relationships across teams to proactively identify stories and elevate student and faculty voices.
- Capture and curate high-quality photography and videography that authentically represent the energy and spirit of the school, while maintaining an organized digital asset library.
- Manage vendor relationships and advertising placements to maximize reach and impact.
- Support and attend key school events to ensure strong promotional coverage.
- Supervise the advancement coordinator, providing direction and project oversight.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in communications, marketing, or a comparable role with demonstrated ownership of strategy and execution.
- Experience in an independent school environment strongly preferred; experience in an all-girls school highly desirable.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong editorial judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively while maintaining discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency with social media platforms, video editing, email marketing tools, analytics, Google Workspace, and design platforms such as Canva (or similar).
- Highly organized, proactive, adaptable, and aligned with Trinity Hall’s mission and core values.
- Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for school events.
