We are seeking a highly skilled digital marketing expert to join our Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Integrated Marketing team. This individual will provide strategic ownership and oversight of our digital marketing ecosystem, leveraging marketing technologies and platforms to plan, develop, and execute marketing strategies across available channels.
The Digital Marketing Program Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing channel-specific marketing strategies, managing the digital components of the Integrated Communications Plan (ICP), and overseeing Cardiac Rhythm Management marketing campaigns. This role will also lead CRM social listening efforts, track campaign performance, report results and continuously optimize programs based on insights and analytics.
Success in this role requires strong cross-functional collaboration within the marketing organization, as well as deep expertise in marketing technology platforms and emerging digital marketing trends.
Digital Marketing Program Manager Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic advisor to digital campaigns that span various functions within the CRM marketing organization, ensuring accurate tracking, measurement and reporting key metrics to drive performance and insights.
- Enhance customer engagement through personalized and targeted digital marketing initiatives.
- Leverage marketing technologies and tools to automate processes, track performance, and optimize campaigns.
- Oversee the Cardiac Rhythm Management digital landscape, from system integration to campaign execution, ensuring all digital initiatives align with business objectives and deliver value.
- As a part of the Integrated Communications Plan process, work with Integrated Marketing partners to develop and implement detailed social/digital channel plans including requirements, scope, deliverables, key milestones, timeline, resources and budget, as well as gain necessary buy-in from key stakeholders
- Oversee digital display ad placements (journal placements and programmatic ads)
- Manage paid media campaigns with external vendor.
- Increase email channel effectiveness by partnering in the deployment of a CRM-wide customer newsletter with our Integrated Marketing and Medical Education teams
- Investigate and develop new channel marketing strategies
- Develop, manage and maintain a master calendar for all digital channels.
- Develop and maintain a system to track and maintain campaign channel budgets.
- Create and manage a digital marketing plan reporting dashboard. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on promotion program insights for leveraging best practices across CRM.
- Build and execute a social listening strategy.
- Work with social media monitoring team to manage responses.
- Act as the liaison for software, identifying and vetting new technologies, proposals and vendors for future digital channel initiatives to increase customer engagement.
- Liaison to OU global regions digital strategists to ensure content continuity and sharing
- Stay informed on latest trends and innovations within digital platforms and marketing technologies and apply knowledge to continually enhance our digital infrastructure.
Must Have:
A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years (advanced degree and 3 years) of Marketing Communications experience (corporate or agency.)
Experience in Word, Excel, Powerpoint , Adobe and Outlook.
Nice to Have:
- Proven planning and project management skills
- Ability to plan and manage projects efficiently and effectively
- Proven ability to work as a liaison between Marketing staff
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of marketing with an ability to translate marketing goals into effective strategic Digital Marketing plans
- Experience with all aspects of digital marketing mediums.
- Experience managing client/customer relationships.
- Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Marketing Communications, Marketing, Advertising or related field.
- 10+ years’ experience in Marketing or Communications in medical device or pharmaceutical industry or knowledge of those industries’ key audiences.
- Experience translating marketing objectives into effective communications tactics
- Ability to create materials that promote Medtronic products to gain competitive advantage.
- Proven ability to understand global marketing principles and cultural issues.
- Understanding and experience in marketing to physicians and patients.
- Understanding of how Medtronic products work and how they are used in the clinical setting.
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$106,400.00 - $159,600.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
