Ruby-Collins, Inc., an employee-owned general contractor with a 55+ year legacy of excellence within the water/wastewater space, is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to take ownership of our social media and digital brand identity.
Based at our headquarters in Smyrna, GA, this is a pivotal role designed for a self-starter who is ready to take the reins of our digital marketing landscape.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Fully manage and grow our LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram ensuring our voice/brand remains consistent, professional, reflective of our core values.
- Visual Storytelling: Travel to active job sites to capture high-quality photography and video. You will translate complex heavy civil operations into compelling visual narratives that showcase our expertise and our people.
- Strategic Content Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive content calendars. You will stay abreast of project schedules and construction timelines, identifying key milestones – from groundbreaking to final completion – to ensure quality content is captured.
- Graphic Design: Serve as our internal creative lead, utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-impact marketing collateral, digital assets, and branded materials that elevate our professional image across the industry.
- Email Marketing & Newsletters: Design and execute strategic email campaigns via Mailchimp (or similar CRM). Assist with revitalizing our company newsletter to keep our 500+ employees and external stakeholders connected.
- Website Maintenance: Maintain the company website via WordPress, ensuring project portfolios are current, SEO is optimized, and our digital presence remains modern and functional.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Proven success in digital marketing, social media management, and/or content creation. Experience within the AEC sectors is highly preferred but not required.
- Skilled Creator: An expert storyteller with a portfolio that demonstrates high-quality photography and videography skills.
- Self-Starter & Driven Mentality: Possess the confidence to "take the reins" and operate with an owner’s mindset. You are someone who hits the ground running, is eager to learn the nuances of heavy civil construction, and can manage multiple shifting deadlines.
- Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro), WordPress for website maintenance, and Mailchimp (or similar CRM) for email marketing. A strong understanding of SEO best practices and social media analytics is essential.
- Field-Ready: Willingness and ability to be out on-site, navigating active construction environments. You must be comfortable engaging directly with field crews and project leadership to capture the heart of our operations.
- Proactive Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently coordinate and collaborate with Field Leadership, VPs, and C-Suite executives.
- Location & Travel: Based in or willing to commute to our Smyrna, GA office. This role requires regular travel to job sites within the Metro-Atlanta area, as well as occasional travel to our coastal regional locations.
- Other: Valid driver’s license (clean MVR) and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening/physical. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
