Our client from the sports industry is seeking a Data Marketing Manager to support the expansion and optimization of their digital marketing and eDM ecosystem using Bloomreach. This is a fully remote, 40 hour per week contract role set to start in early April, with strong potential to extend. This position requires working PST hours.
The ideal candidate is a data driven marketer with hands on experience in eDM platforms, segmentation, user insights, and multi channel messaging. This is a support focused role that partners closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to validate ideas, execute data driven initiatives, and manage the day to day operations of the email and CRM ecosystem.
What You Will Do
- Support the Senior Marketing Manager in delivering and scaling digital marketing and eDM initiatives through both strategic validation and hands on execution
- Manage daily operations within the eDM platform (Bloomreach or similar), including segmentation, data capture, content coordination, and editorial QA
- Collaborate with product, content, partnerships, and analytics teams to plan campaigns and uphold tone of voice and brand consistency
- Generate user insights across web, app, and digital products to guide messaging strategy, content curation, and acquisition tactics
- Build and refine multi channel user journeys across email, push, SMS, in app, and on site channels
- Leverage CRM logic and AI driven segmentation to support audience personalization and lifecycle growth
- Report on performance, user behavior, and marketing trends to support OKRs and audience growth goals
- Assist with content development for eDM channels, ensuring strong link driven storytelling and engagement
What You Will Need
- 2+ years of experience in eDM, CRM, or data driven acquisition, ideally within a sports brand, consumer brand, or digital agency
- Hands on experience with eDM platforms such as Bloomreach or similar CRMs and CDPs
- Project management skills with experience supporting cross functional teams such as partnerships, creative, media, PR, and digital
- Proven ability to support large scale digital marketing programs and adapt to shifting priorities
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights and messaging
- Versatile copywriting skills with experience producing link driven newsletter content
- Highly organized, solution oriented, and comfortable working within structured and process driven environments
