The RoleWe are looking for a high-energy, entrepreneurial Director, Brand Partnerships to lead our revenue growth. You will be responsible for identifying, pitching, and closing integrated marketing partnerships with brands looking to reach an affluent, decision-making audience. This isn't just about selling "spots and dots"—it’s about creating 360-degree narratives that include host-read ads, custom-branded segments, social media integration, live activations, and newsletter features across our 15+ award-winning shows.
Key Responsibilities- Revenue Generation: Own and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets by identifying and securing new brand partners.
- Strategic Prospecting: Build a robust pipeline of endemic (fintech, banking, insurance) and non-endemic (lifestyle, luxury, B2B tech) partners.
- Creative Pitching: Collaborate with our production and content teams to develop bespoke "Main Street" focused sponsorship packages that feel native to the MNN voice.
- Relationship Management: Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial outreach and RFP response to contract negotiation and renewal.
- Market Ambassadorship: Represent MNN at industry events and agencies to elevate our brand presence in the media-buying community.
- Data-Driven Selling: Utilize listener demographics and download data to build compelling, ROI-driven business cases for advertisers.
Qualifications- Experience: 6–10 years of experience in media sales, digital advertising, or brand partnerships (Podcast/Audio experience is a major plus).
- Network: An existing book of business and strong relationships with media agencies and direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands is preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills; you can take complex financial concepts and make them "fun and accessible" for partners.
