The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Supporting Merrill Gardens communities and the Marketing and Sales teams as needed
- Assisting with daily marketing operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflows
- Reviewing and providing creative feedback on marketing and collateral materials
- Coordinating the collateral request process for community and corporate needs
- Managing community advertisement schedules and assisting with ad creation
- Monitoring all collateral materials for brand standards and compliance
- Assisting in the creation of blog and newsletter content
- Supporting photo and video shoots at Merrill Gardens communities
- Assisting with website updates, online listings, and digital content maintenance
- Implementing social media initiatives, including drafting and posting content
- Supporting marketing logistics such as event coordination, scheduling, shipping, and promotional materials
- Coordinating tactical execution of marketing strategies across the portfolio
- Supporting relationships with external vendors
- Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
- Other duties as assigned
If you are someone with:
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (required)
- One to two years of experience in a similar role (preferred)
- Experience with social media management, project management, or content creation (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and related software
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Social media and CRM experience a plus
- Ability to communicate professionally with both internal and external partners
- Demonstrates tact, diplomacy, and a clear, courteous, and professional demeanor
Physical Requirements:
This role requires regular use of a computer and may involve occasional lifting, bending, or reaching. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Actual pay within the stated range will be determined based on relevant factors, in compliance with state and local wage laws. This range reflects our reasonable expectation for this role at the time of hire and is $60,000–$65,000. Bonus Target of 5%.
