One of the most category-defining cybersecurity startups in New York right now is building a new segment of security from the ground up, and they need the person who tells that story to the world.
This isn't a content calendar role. It's a market education mandate. You will shape how an entirely new security category is understood, by CISOs, practitioners, and the analysts who write about them. Founder voices, organic demand, pipeline fuel — you own all of it.
What we need:
5+ years in B2B marketing, with 3+ years specifically in cybersecurity. You speak the language of CISOs and AppSec practitioners — no ramp-up needed.
Proven SEO and GEO content writing at a technical level, blog posts, white papers, guides that rank and convert.
Founder-led social content experience — ghostwriting for executives at LinkedIn scale is a real skill and we need it.
Multimedia production comfort: Riverside, Descript, Canva, HubSpot or equivalent.
Startup DNA — you have built content infrastructure while producing output simultaneously, and you didn't break.
What you'll own:
The full content engine — editorial calendar, SEO strategy, long-form assets, and interactive demand tools from day one.
Executive thought leadership across LinkedIn, X, and newsletter for the founding team.
A virtual events programme from topic development through post-event repurposing.
The connective tissue between Sales, Product, and the market — your content reflects real buyer pain, not internal messaging.
The category is being written right now. You would be the person holding the pen.
