Job Summary
This individual will work closely with the Brand Director in supporting all aspects of developing the brand and the launch of new products.
Responsibilities
Competitive Analysis:
• Conduct thorough research on industry competitors, analyzing their
products, marketing strategies, and market positioning.
• Create detailed reports on competitors’ strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis).
• Present findings to the marketing team to inform strategic planning
and decision-making.
Market/Brand Deck Preparation:
· Assist in the creation and updating of market and brand decks for internal and external presentations.
· Gather and organize relevant data, images, and content to ensure decks are comprehensive and visually appealing.
· Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure consistency with brand guidelines and messaging.
Trend Analysis:
· Monitor and report on current and emerging market trends, consumer behavior, and industry innovations.
· Identify opportunities for new product development and marketing strategies based on trend analysis.
· Provide insights and recommendations to the marketing team to stay ahead of market trends.
Creative Request Form Management:
· Ensure all creative briefs are clear, detailed, and aligned with brand objectives.
· Coordinate with the creative team to prioritize and deliver projects on time.
Social Media Management:
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages
- Analyze engagement metrics and prepare weekly
Content Creation:
- Assist in the creation of content of blog posts, newsletter, and website content
Email Marketing
- Help Design and distribute email newsletters
- Manage email lists and segmentation
- Track and report on email campaigns
Community Engagement
- Participate in on line forums and groups relevant to the industry
- Foster relationships with influencers and brand advocates
- Help manage online community events
Qualifications
· BS in Marketing, Communication or Business preferred.
· Experience working in the beauty industry a plus.
· Strong analytic skills.
· Strong presentation skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively within and across different functions.
· Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
· Ability to communicate clearly in multiple medians- traditional and non-traditional.
· Command of Microsoft applications- word, PowerPoint, excel a MUST.
Position is hybrid- 2 days in office in NYC and 3 days remote
