National Real Estate Insurance group (NREIG) is seeking an organized people-person to join our dynamic people and culture team in our Kansas City-based headquarters for our full-time People & Culture Coordinator position.
The People & Culture Coordinator is a cultural ambassador of the organization and supports the people function by serving as a knowledge partner to associates, managers and leaders. Going beyond transactional coordination, our coordinator drives complex projects and initiatives across the associate lifecycle.
As an integral part of the team, main responsibilities include:
- Ensure operational excellence: support director, business partner and talent acquisition with execution of key initiatives
- Own HR lifecycle operations: coordinate onboarding, life cycle events (open enrollment, new hire onboarding, exits,
- Provide associate support: serve as a main point of contact for people-culture inbox and provide needed service (HRIS, time sheets, benefits, office management)
- Drive cultural initiatives: weekly newsletter, monthly all-hands, semi-annual celebrations, offsites, monthly values awards, wellness, volunteer week, surveys, SharePoint intranet
The skills, knowledge and experience we are seeking are:
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Emotional intelligence
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortability managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to operate with discretion and use sound judgement
- Experience in and understanding of human resources within several core functional areas: talent acquisition, total rewards, onboarding, training, offboarding, employee relations and compliance
- Proficiency in HRIS (Paycor) and Microsoft Office Suite
