ABOUT THIS ROLE
Genimex is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager with proven expertise in SEO, AI-driven search, and digital content - someone who can own the execution layer of our marketing function and build the systems behind it. This role is central to how Genimex grows its digital presence, generates a top-of-funnel pipeline, and maintains consistency across all marketing channels.
You will manage key vendor relationships, drive content and social strategy, own marketing analytics and CRM operations, and serve as the in-house expert on SEO and AI search optimization across digital platforms. The Head of Marketing owns overall strategy and brand direction - this role owns execution, infrastructure, and the domain expertise that makes it all run.
ABOUT US
With over 50 years of full-service contract manufacturing experience, Genimex specializes in product design, engineering and production. Our team helps brands bring new product ideas to life. We have a long history and passion that has enabled us to build trusted relationships with multinational companies, corporations, retailers, established brands, start-ups and investors.
Our services can help brands streamline their supply chain by providing timely ongoing product development support, ensuring intellectual property confidentiality and reducing manufacturing risks and costs without compromising quality. This allows our clients to focus on their sales and marketing efforts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role calls for someone who proactively maintains momentum across marketing initiatives—owning key deliverables like newsletters and content calendars, while thoughtfully assessing partner performance through data-backed insights. A strong sense of ownership and accountability is essential.
We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience who:
- Brings deep expertise in SEO and AI/GEO search and takes full ownership of that function
- Executes independently across multiple channels without constant direction
- Manages vendor relationships with accountability - not just coordination
- Thinks in systems and builds repeatable, scalable processes
- Moves comfortably between technical work, creative writing, and operational tasks
What you’ll own:
- Content & Campaigns: Manage the content calendar aligned to campaigns and sales priorities; oversee writers; own newsletter and blog execution, including performance tracking (open rates, CTR, engagement)
- SEO & AI/GEO Optimization: Own SEO strategy in partnership with an agency; drive visibility across emerging AI search platforms (i.e. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini); conduct keyword research and monitor site health
- Social Media (LinkedIn): Plan, write, and publish content; manage community engagement; grow audience and track performance
- Analytics & Reporting: Own monthly KPI reporting across channels; analyze traffic, rankings, and funnel performance; provide actionable insights and recommendations
- CRM & Marketing Ops: Build and maintain email workflows; support lead tracking and reporting; create scalable systems and documentation
- Website & Vendor Management: Maintain site content; manage external partners (SEO, design, content) with clear direction, feedback, and accountability
REQUIREMENTS
- 4-7 years of hands-on digital marketing experience with clear ownership (not purely support roles)
- Proven track record of driving organic growth (traffic, engagement, or pipeline)
- Proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting (i.e., Google Analytics, Search Console), with the ability to translate data into clear insights
- Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation, including building and maintaining workflows
- Strong written communication skills across channels with a consistent, on-brand voice
- Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day workflows to improve output and efficiency
- Self-directed and highly organized, able to manage multiple workstreams independently
PREFERRED BACKGROUND
- Experience in B2B marketing (manufacturing, design, or professional services)
- Exposure to small to mid-sized, fast-paced teams
- Background in or familiarity with the consumer product or industrial design ecosystem
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (<10%)
ROLE DETAILS
- Full-time (days) position
- Hybrid work environment (3 days on-site in NY: Mon, Tues, Wed)
- No direct reports
- Reports to: Head of Marketing
In compliance with New York State and New York City pay transparency laws, the base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience, skills, and internal equity. This role is also eligible for:
- Annual performance-based bonus
- Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and unlimited paid time off
