Change Management Consultant III with our large power and utilities client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension.
Pay: $59.00 - $69.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
Description:
The Consultant will be asked to facilitate change management delivery efforts as part of a team on a large-scale initiative or to work independently on smaller-scale initiatives. This position will collaborate closely with leaders, other change managers and business resources to support methodology and deliverables as required.
- Defines and develops change management approach for assigned projects/initiatives, both Waterfall and Agile environments and demonstrates added value of change management
- Understands and can apply Prosci methodology, tools and approaches
- Identifies groups and individuals impacted by an initiative and develops stakeholder assessments and supports sponsor roadmap development
- Develops and delivers engaging and innovative communications using appropriate channels (e.g., targeted communications, newsletters, portal pages, SharePoint, Teams)
- Identifies training needs and develops content on projects or initiatives, including job aids, portal page content or user materials
- Identifies potential solution integration or people-related risks and issues and recommends actions
- Serves as change management representative in meetings with teams and management
40% - Develops and coordinates change management projects with some supervision
25% - Develops/implements change management plans on varied issues; can navigate the company to resolve issues/identify opportunities.
20% - Manages follow up on elevated issues; briefs others in the organization.
15% - Serves as change management representative in meetings with teams and management.
Preferred Qualifications:- Demonstrated strong leadership skills: negotiation, conflict management skills, influencing skills, ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback
- Proficient in PowerPoint design and newsletter/brochure graphic design
- Ability to set up and manage SharePoint sites
- Demonstrated ability to communicate a vision and obtain buy-in
- Ability to adapt and change as business needs change
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with agile change approaches
