About the Position:
Talroo is hiring a Marketing Specialist who will contribute directly to our overall success by owning a wide range of marketing responsibilities. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, efficient, and eager to work with a small and mighty team. This person is passionate about learning and growing their marketing skills and playing a key role in cutting-edge initiatives. They are inspired by a fast-paced environment and the ability to work autonomously, as well as in groups, to exceed business goals.
This position is fully on-site at our Austin, TX headquarters.
No employer sponsorship is available for this role at any time. Selected candidate must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. without ever needing sponsorship of any kind.
Expected salary range: $70k-$80k
As our Marketing Specialist at Talroo, you will:
- Find creative ways to build Talroo brands among prospective customers. Manage Reviews on social sites such as G2. Respond to complaints and suggestions. Seek and promote online and offline opportunities to promote Talroo services across multiple channels, such as podcasts, interviews, and speech engagements etc, or through creative company events.
- Post regularly to company account through Hubspot CRM. Work with graphic designer for proper image sizes, measure effectiveness of posts, and respond to comments.
- Also through Hubspot, you’ll create a monthly email newsletter for our audience, including recent blog posts, infographics, news stories, and more.
- Manage and optimize paid media campaigns in platforms such as LinkedIn, Google, and Meta, among others
- Support the strategy, execution, and management of integrated email marketing campaigns
- Manage various webinars, virtual conferences, in-person conferences, and sponsorships that Talroo is involved in. For in-person conferences, this role will handle critical aspects such as researching opportunities, reserving exhibit space, executing contracts, managing booth logistics, maintaining a calendar of deadlines, creating any needed ads and signage, submitting speaking proposals, and more.
- Maintain a calendar of business/industry/product awards and manage on-time submissions.
- Work cross-functionally within marketing and with other departments (sales, product, etc) to enhance the entire customer journey and ensure consistent messaging and brand identity
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, follow through on issues in a timely manner while interfacing with staff at all levels of the organization, as well as clients and partners.
- Analyze performance against goals and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
- Proactively communicate and report on performance to the larger team
- Stay up to date with market trends, industry insights, and emerging digital marketing tools, evaluating their applicability to our marketing strategies
- Build and maintain productive working relationships with all stakeholders through effective communication, accountability, reliability, and curiosity
What Makes You a Great Match:
- 2-3 years of successful marketing experience across a variety of functions, including demand generation, paid search, paid social, conference & webinar management, etc (preferably in a small tech environment)
- You demonstrate high agency and sense of urgency to solve business challenges
- You naturally jump in, roll your sleeves up and own your work without being pushed
- You are a self-directed team player who thrives under pressure
- You show proven dedication to constant learning and skills growth
- You can demonstrate a proven track record of successful marketing initiatives relevant to the duties and functions listed above
- You possess superb written and interpersonal communication skills
- You have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in a marketing-related area of study
- Selected candidate must reside in the greater Austin metro area to fulfill this position
- Please note this is an in-office position
