The team of people who make up Segal Communications are smart, strategic, and creative, and we’re looking for Bay Area-based talent to join our team. Candidates for this role must be able to work from our San Francisco office.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Active role in daily social media posting, content creation and listening for a variety of clients
- Develop social media cadence and calendar for both clients and the company
- Conduct analysis through the use of social listening tools, audience intelligence tools and owned analytics tools
- Use these analytics to create in-depth client reports
- Assist in developing client strategies, KPI’s and reporting strategies for clients
- Stay on top of conversations heating up in verticals that are a priority to clients
- Stay current with the latest social measurement trends, as well as relevant industry trends
- Community management: Monitor and engage social media platforms daily on behalf of our clients
- Actively contribute to the growth of the digital presence of the business with digital content as determined
- Help further build and maintain Segals Communications’ strong brand/reputation
- Assist in the development of a “How We Do Things”/Best Practices guide that gets continually improved and added to
- Manage & maintain relationships with key content creators and influencers
REQUIREMENTS
- 1 - 2 years of experience working in a social media coordinator level role
- Knowledge of what type of content performs well on each social media platform and how to create it, including but not limited to Instagram, Tiktok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X
- Advanced in Sprout Social, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Workspace
- Advanced photography skills - digital camera experience preferred
- Proficient in shooting video content, using video editing software and creating short-form videos
- Great eye for content, color, and consistency
- Excellent writing skills; can draft captions, newsletter, blog and case study content with little oversight; a strong ear for voice and tone
- Savvy about social media trends, memes, and the current news media landscape
- Clever, witty, and confident - can give Wendy’s Twitter feed a run for its money
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- Organized, strong attention to detail
- A go-getter who takes initiative and proactively anticipates client needs
