Keystone Law Group has an excellent opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join our growing law practice. The ideal candidate is familiar with the legal and/or professional services industries and excels in a fast-paced work environment. The role requires a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who can also multitask effectively, and demonstrate organization, flexibility, and attention to detail. The Legal Assistant will report to the Operations Manager.

The firm is a boutique practice with around 50 employees, all dedicated to delivering superior client service through a culture grounded in excellence, innovation, collaboration, and camaraderie. Location
Position is hybrid with 3 days per week in the office.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to multiple attorneys
- Administrative duties such as filing, copying, scanning and saving documents
- Legal tasks such as e-filings, proofs of service and calendaring deadlines
- Prepare initial drafts of basic pleadings and discovery documents, as well as formatting and finalizing legal documents
- Calendar and schedule meetings, depositions, mediations, and hearings (in-person and virtual) for multiple attorneys
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and maintaining trial binders
- Client and vendor communication including answering calls, drafting correspondence and back-up reception duties
- Assist with client onboarding and offboarding processes
- Process monthly reimbursement reports for multiple attorneys
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Other responsibilities and projects, as assigned
Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of computer software including Windows, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.
- Experience with civil court procedures and understanding of filing requirements for legal documents preferred
- Knowledge of legal CRM, document and task management, and DocuSign preferred
- Ability to fluently read, write, and speak English
- Ability to type at least 65 words per minute
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment
- Ability to assume full responsibility for certain tasks and projects
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Handle confidential information in a professional and discreet manner
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Relevant law office or professional services experience required; litigation experience preferred
Salary Range
- Hourly rate is $28.00 to $40.00 (equivalent to $58,240 to $83,200 annually), depending on experience, plus discretionary bonus
