Job Description:
Seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Operations professional to lead the migration and onboarding of a newly acquired newsletter business into an existing portal and marketing infrastructure.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Execute newsletter and portal migration activities from onboarding through launch
- Build and configure marketing automation workflows, triggers, unsubscribe functions, and operational systems
- Support UTM tracking, portal functionality, and customer experience requirements alongside technical teams
- Manage data imports/exports and ensure migration accuracy and integrity
- Monitor email deliverability and domain health post-migration
- Build and maintain reporting using existing templates and frameworks
- Ensure operational consistency across portal-level and newsletter-specific systems
- Train internal stakeholders on workflows and operational processes after implementation
- Provide proactive project updates, timeline management, and status reporting throughout the engagement
Requirements:
Must-Haves:- Strong Marketing Operations experience
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot or Marketo
- Experience building workflows, automations, triggers, unsubscribe functions, and operational marketing systems
- Experience collaborating with web developers or technical teams
- Strong understanding of data migration, imports/exports, and operational workflows
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage large datasets accurately
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and proactive status reporting skills
- Ability to identify issues early and escalate risks appropriately
- Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
- Strong accountability and ownership mindset
Nice-to-Haves:- Experience with newsletter migrations or portal implementations
- Familiarity with CRM integrations and marketing systems architecture
- Experience monitoring email deliverability and domain health
- Experience training internal teams on operational workflows
- Experience supporting publication or newsletter operations
