About Iris AI Agents
Iris is the personal AI assistant that actually does things. You text it, it remembers your life, and a team of agents runs in the background — checking your inbox, booking your reservations, drafting your replies, building your website, posting your content, calling restaurants on your behalf. Premium and Pro users get a full personal AI workforce that operates while they sleep. Try it here: https://agents.irisai.app/intro.
We've shipped a working product, real paying users on iMessage / SMS / web / iOS / Android, and a fast-moving engineering team that pushes daily, and delivered over 2 million responses to tens of thousands of users.
We alsohave an unfair advantage most early-stage products would kill for: an existing distribution channel of 1M+ followers across the founder's owned audiences. These are real people who already trust the brand and are asking what AI can do for them. Today, that audience and the product are mostly disconnected. Connecting them — educating those followers, listening to their actual life problems, and building purpose-built Iris agents that solve those problems — is the single biggest unlock in front of the company.
What we don't have is anyone whose focus is doing exactly that. That's what we're hiring for.
The Role
You'll own the GTM motion end-to-end. Marketing, growth, partnerships, content, sales, and brand all roll up to you. You'll work directly with the CEO. Engineering will build whatever you can prove demand for.
The defining feature of this seat: you start with 1M+ followers, not zero. Your job isn't to "go find users" — it’s to talk to ours, learn what they're trying to do in their actual lives and businesses, and convert that signal
into agents that ship, get used, and get bragged about. The founder's audience is your research panel, your launch channel, and your distribution moat all at once. Treat it like the asset it is.
What You'll Own
Educate the 1M+ audience on what AI agents can do. Today most of them don't know. Short-form video, written posts, live demos, "an Iris agent did this for me today" content. Make the abstract concrete.
Mine the audience for problems. Every comment, DM, and reply is a product brief. Turn them into a steady pipeline of "specific real-life problem → purpose-built agent template" — wedding planning, expense tracking, fitness coaching, customer reactivation, lead qual, whatever they're actually asking for.
Work with the product team to ship those agents fast. When an agent template lands, it lands on the dashboard, the mobile app, and the marketing site as a one-click install. Your job is to make sure that loop closes — from audience feedback to shippable agent — in days, not quarters.
Positioning and brand. Decide what Iris means in the market and how we describe it in one sentence. Today: “the personal AI assistant that takes action while you sleep." Make it 10x sharper.
Conversion. Own the funnel from follower → landing-page visit → signup → text-1 → Premium upgrade → Pro upgrade. Today the math is mostly luck; make it a system.
Lifecycle. Onboarding, retention emails, push notifications, win-back. Most users churn because they don't realize what Iris can do — fix that.
Acquisition beyond the existing channel. Paid, organic SEO, partnerships, viral mechanics. The 1M is your floor, not your ceiling.
Partnerships. Creators, podcasters, agencies, AI tools, productivity influencers — bring relationships or build them, and bring deal volume.
Sales for the SMB / agency segment. Iris agents are now used by small businesses for support, lead-qual, social, and outreach. Stand up an outbound motion to capture that.
Reporting. Weekly GTM scorecard to the CEO. Honest numbers, no vanity metrics, no excuses.
What You'll Bring
A track record of taking a consumer or prosumer product from under $1M to over $10M ARR — as the operator, not the advisor.
Real experience converting an owned audience into customers. If you've turned a community, newsletter, or following into a revenue engine, that's the table stakes here.
Equally comfortable writing the LinkedIn ad, briefing the agency, scripting the TikTok, closing the partnership, and tuning AI agents.
A genuine opinion about AI products. You've used Iris (or a competitor) for at least a week before this conversation, and you have ideas about what's broken.
The temperament to ship something rough on Monday, A/B test it Tuesday, and replace it on Wednesday.
Founder mentality. This is a small team with lots of ownership. If you drive growth, you’ll get compensated for it.
The Deal
Compensation: equity and profit share only until the company is funded at. Meaningful Director-level or C-suite level grant based on experience with standard 4-year / 1-year-cliff vesting. We move to salary plus equity as soon as funding allows — but if you need a paycheck on day one, this isn't the role. Role can be part time as we scale.
Founder's bargain. You'll move faster, own more, and have more upside than any equivalent Director or C suite seat at a funded company. The 1M+ audience makes the upside math very real.
Remote, US-friendly hours. Adam (CEO) is in Texas. You can live wherever.
