The Marketing & Events Coordinator supports Auxiom’s market presence, brand consistency, and business development activity. This role sits at the intersection of events, content, and leadership support — touching nearly every part of the business.
The Marketing & Events Coordinator plans and executes events, produces podcast content, supports leadership communications, and keeps marketing operations running smoothly. The role is well-suited to someone who takes ownership, thrives on variety, and finds satisfaction in making things run well.
Key Responsibilities
Events
• Coordinate planning and logistics for Auxiom-hosted events (dinners, roundtables, client experiences, community events).
• Manage Auxiom’s presence at sponsored industry and community events — booth setup, materials, logistics, and on-site representation.
• Coordinate sponsorship and logistics for golf outings and similar community events (Auxiom participates in several per year).
• Manage vendor relationships, venue details, run-of-show documents, and day-of execution.
• Handle invitations, RSVPs, follow-up, and post-event recaps.
Podcast & Content
• Support production of the BLTNT podcast — guest research, prep materials, scheduling, and follow-up.
• Run video, sound board, and cameras during podcast recordings (training provided; post-production is handled by a partner).
• Draft and schedule content across social media platforms (LinkedIn and others) and support the Five Bites newsletter.
• Capture and organize key messaging, stories, and brand moments.
Marketing Operations
• Keep marketing materials, templates, and files current and organized.
• Coordinate with leadership to turn ideas into execution.
• Track active campaigns, follow-ups, and content calendars.
Leadership Support
• Help prepare meeting materials, briefing documents, and external communications.
• Anticipate what’s needed before being asked — then make it happen.
Key Metrics of Success
• Events are planned and executed on time, on budget, and reflect the Auxiom brand well.
• Podcast episodes are produced on schedule with minimal friction for guests and leadership.
• Social and newsletter content is consistent, on-brand, and published reliably.
• Marketing materials and files are organized, current, and accessible.
• Leadership feels well-supported and prepared for external engagements.
Qualifications & Abilities
• Prior experience in marketing, events, communications, or a similar coordination role preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear, professional communicator — in writing and in person.
• Comfort using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) to work faster and smarter.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Canva is helpful; experience with HubSpot (contact lists, sequences, and email workflows) is a meaningful plus.
• Some familiarity with video production, AV equipment, or live recording setups is a plus (full training provided).
• Self-directed and ownership-oriented — does not require step-by-step management.
