We are seeking a Vice President of Marketing to manage the marketing team and operations at our corporate office, located in Austin, TX. The VP of Marketing is responsible for overseeing all aspects of leasing and marketing for a portfolio of housing communities. The VP works closely with the Community Manager & staff to set leasing goals and develop a strategic marketing plan for achieving budgeted occupancy. The Vice President is responsible for effectively leading leasing teams and accomplishing effective leasing, marketing and positive resident relations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop leasing and marketing campaign for large scale multifamily lease ups located in major metro areas
- Develop yearly marketing plan and utilize marketing strategies & system
- Analyze performance and trends in YARDI software to develop and implement market strategies
- Develop and implement resident retention programs (i.e. resident functions, special promotions, monthly newsletter, etc.)
- Develop new relationships and strengthen existing relationships with business contacts and vendors
- Identify marketing needs of specific communities or areas to facilitate the development and implementation of marketing plans to accomplish objectives
- Mentor community team members on leasing and marketing skills and concepts.
- Maintain a solid awareness of company and regional performance and makes decisions that will have a positive effect on performance
- Keep abreast of relevant industry topics to incorporate them into planning and decision-making
- Maintain an awareness and understanding of the goals of the company and work to enhance its overall image and presence in the market
- Seek out and utilize available internal and external resources to meet goals and objectives
- Monitors reviews, manages company’s online reputation and utilizes Customer Satisfaction Surveys
- Communicate regularly with Senior Vice President, Regional Supervisors, and Community Managers regarding goals, objectives, and relevant concerns, problems, and solutions
- Develop marketing communication materials targeting Company market niches
- Monitor and Implement all social media and online presence, including all campaigns being used Administrative & Maintenance Management
- Ensure all administrative & leasing reporting is accurate, complete, and submitted on a timely basis
- Develop and monitor social media campaigns that help to achieve corporate marketing goals.
- Deliberate planning, strategy and goal setting for the portfolio
- Develop monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be submitted to the management and executive teams.
- Analyze the long-term needs of the company's social media strategy
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports to the management and executive teams that outline any necessary changes to the digital marketing plan.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field, preferred.
- 5 to 7 years of experience within a marketing management role
- Must have Yardi experience
- Personnel management experience
- Experience creating and implementing a lease up marketing campaign for multifamily properties
- Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask
- Strong copywriting skills
- Attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage budgets
- Professional and proactive work ethic
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
