Position: Marketing Coordinator
Reports to: Marketing & Development Manager

Evergreen Habitat is searching for a dynamic and committed professional to serve as our Marketing Coordinator. This position will support the Marketing & Development Manager and the Resource Development team in supporting Habitat’s communications and outreach through social media, newsletters, storytelling, fundraising events, and community events. This position will provide brand management support, and assist with the implementation of marketing, advertising, and promotional strategy for the organization.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee day to day communications and marketing efforts of Habitat, including but not limited to creation and dissemination of email blasts, text messages, and direct mail efforts.
· Work with Marketing & Development Manager to create and disseminate monthly e-newsletter.
· Support advertising for the two Vancouver Habitat Stores in Central and West Vancouver with a focus on driving sales and increasing donations of goods.
· Manage content creation and scheduling for Habitat Store social media (primarily Facebook and Instagram).
· Attend and represent Habitat at tabling fairs, community events, and speaking engagements, representing Habitat in a variety of settings.
· Maintain a thorough understanding of Habitat for Humanity’s brand guidelines.
· Design and develop collateral materials for resource development, community outreach, and the Habitat Stores with brand fidelity using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
· Assist resource development department as needed with donor outreach, stewardship, and appreciation through various communication efforts and events.
· Support in updating content for Habitat’s website.
· Assist other staff members and/or board members as assigned.
Schedule:
Fortyhours per week. Monday through Friday. Flexibility is required.
Position Requirements:
· Support and endorse the Habitat for Humanity mission.
· Strong social media skills and content creation including taking photos, video, stories, Facebook and Instagram Lives, etc.
- Ability to create effective written newsletters, emails, signage, customer communications, and letters following Habitat brand guidelines.
· Professional dress and demeanor.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Enjoy working with a wide variety of people.
· Strong organizational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks while remaining flexible and calm.
· Knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and InDesign), and Canva platforms.
· Valid driver’s license and ability to run errands as necessary.
General Work Schedule:
· 40 hours/week; variable, includes evenings and weekends
· Flexible work schedule including hybrid work from home opportunities
· Current hours: 9am-5pm Monday- Friday

Occasional requirements are to move about the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs. Evening and weekend work may be required.
Salary and benefits:
Salary: $45,000, dependent on experience and skills. Benefits include paid medical and dental insurance, paid holidays, retirement contributions, paid time off, and a flexible work schedule with hybrid work from home opportunities.
