PepsiCo’s Data Management and Operations team is tasked with the responsibility of developing quality data collection processes, maintaining the integrity of our data foundations, and enabling business leaders and data scientists across the company to have rapid access to the data they need for decision-making and innovation.
What PepsiCo Data Management and Operations does:
- Maintain a predictable, transparent, global operating rhythm that ensures always-on access to high-quality data for stakeholders across the company
- Responsible for day-to-day data collection, transportation, maintenance/curation and access to the PepsiCo corporate data asset
- Work cross-functionally across the enterprise to centralize data and standardize it for use by business, data science or other stakeholders
- Increase awareness about available data and democratize access to it across the company
Responsibilities
As a member of the data engineering team, you will be the key domain expert overseeing PepsiCo's business process and drive a strong discussion for how Supply Chain, Financial, Consumer, Channel, Category business needs to be defined and prioritize by working very closely with senior leaders, business leads, data science team and data engineering team. You'll develop an in-depth understanding of business processes in and translate business requirements to data engineering team in technical way. Support the leadership team's strategic agenda, planning, and operating rhythm, and organizational communications, including newsletters, presentation, and executive storytelling, within a global digital product ecosystem.
Accountabilities
- Discover, analyze, and scope data requirements & representing them in conceptual and logical data models
- Gather and analyze data pertaining to various business processes such as forecasts, capital requirements, inventory, logistic, manufacturing and production capacity to develop supply chain models. geographics, POS, pricing and promotion, store profile, e-commerce data to develop channel models.
- Create high-level process models (system interface diagrams, workflow & swim lane diagrams, data flow diagrams) to represent processes for the area under analysis
- Empower the business by creating value through the increased adoption of data, data science and business intelligence landscape.
- Responsible to improve the quality of data in relation to defined expectations
- Perform analysis of system data to identify patterns, exceptions, and erroneous data
- Partner with senior leadership to support the strategic agenda, planning cadence, roadmap, and prioritization of the data & analytics portfolio, coordinating cross-functional initiatives and tracking progress against key decisions
- Support executive and organizational presence across approved internal and external channels, including LinkedIn and internal collaboration platforms, through thoughtful content planning and drafting.
- Promote major wins, platform launches, product milestones, and success stories to improve visibility, adoption, and stakeholder confidence.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $110,700 - $185,250.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with data analysis & data profiling in project, business requirements definition or data engineering in CPG or Manufacturing Industry.
- 6+ years’ work experience in the areas of Distribution Network Analysis, Manufacturing, Production Network Optimization, Transportation, Demand Planning, or other areas related to Supply Chain or other domains such as Financial, Consumer, Channel, Category etc.
- 4+ years of strong Data Profiling experience & ability to identify trends and anomalies in the data to in-form data model build out.
- Experience in working with Datasets from POS Aggregators such as IRI, Nielsen, Kantar etc.
- Experience working with structured/unstructured datasets, ability to clearly document and communicate requirement to technical team members.
- Strong grasp of emerging technologies in data and analytics (e.g., GenAI, LLMs, Databricks, cloud platforms – Azure/AWS/GCP, and modern data stack tools), and ability to assess their relevance to business initiatives.
- Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills – able to synthesize complex analytical insights into clear, compelling narratives.
- Ability to connect the dots across technical, business, and strategic layers, acting as a bridge between data engineering, business leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience supporting senior executives, leadership teams, or large cross-functional organizations through strategic planning, business operations, program management, consulting, or equivalent roles.
- Strong program and project management capability, including planning, dependency management, risk tracking, decision management, and follow-through across large initiatives.
- Demonstrated executive presence, discretion, sound judgment, and ability to operate effectively with senior leaders and highly sensitive information.
- Experience creating internal communications, newsletters, leadership updates, social content, or engagement campaigns; familiarity with tools such as Viva Engage, newsletter platforms, or content analytics is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain and/or Operations Management or Business Administration is Required, Masters Preferred.

- Strong knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain data elements and processes per the necessary in-scope data domain (i.e., Customer, Material, Vendor)
- Ability to translate business requirements into critical data dependencies and requirements

- Self-learner and eager to understand data, business processes, concepts, and technologies.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration, driving alignment across business units, technical teams, and leadership.
- Strategic thinker with experience supporting leadership decision-making, prioritizing initiatives, and aligning analytics outputs to key business KPIs and outcomes.
- Proficient in using LLMs and GenAI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to accelerate personal and team productivity — drafting, summarizing, analysis, and automating repetitive tasks
